I have the GOG version would you mind providing a link for me to access this mod?

for me it would be nice, never was able to get it to work since v4.0 i had an mk5 engine then because of some workshop content expiring and no longer available, i was forced to start from scratch. this only woul have help me get back to where i was faster but i have to start a new game when using this or it doesnt show up, if i start a new game, with it, it seems to break the booster. on the mk 2 or higher engines. ill double check and make sure.

I suppose it's useful for people who love easy-street. I won't use it but I can see it's value for people who like different-faster playstyles than myself.

The scenario settings are the same as standard free play.

with this mod, the scenarios are active?

This mod only creates a start game script that gives you these items. It should not effect previous games. There is a mod created by someone else in the steam workshop that allows you to buy any mk5 equipment.

Can i buy mk5 shields and engines with prevous save game?

It will be handy to do the swap out eventually... started the campagn and would have found the gear pretty nifty to have on hand considering how smart the ship looks! (Military Pimp My Skunk)

I've been thinking of ways to do this. The simplest way would be to add 4 different game starts (all dashing/behemouth and sidwinder/overcharged combos), but this cluters up the new game screen.

I'm thinking about adding a new menu that you can access while docked and it will let you swap out the default game start equipment. I'm still researching how to do this and not mess up existing save games.

It would be nice if you could let us decide which engine or shield we want. I for example prefer the bashing shield because it can withstand more impacts... and also I prefer the engines which give the most forward speed... strafing is not important for me.

If this is possible after an update I'll definitely get this mod ;)
