I don't think I ever added the ability to do that, actually. It wouldn't be hard to do but I've been super busy with school lately. I'll get around to it when possible if I don't forget!

Not by default, no. You can manually bind a key to saying "/whitelist", however. Just open your client console and do it there

Just a question, is the a bind a key to this, because if there is a commande for that, I would apriciate to know, anyways really useful addon :)

It's used to allow certain people to join the server, not meant for any specific gamemode. If a player tries to join and their SteamID isn't on the whitelist, they'll be kicked before they get in

Yes it is but is a jerk if they just took it and distributed it and by saying that they should give credit, this means that they could provide credit but sell it on and i doubt you want that!

Lua's effectively open source, anyone who wants to download it can see the code. If someone wanted to keep developing it, they could do so as long as they give credit~

Or give your addons onto someone who wants to carry them on and give them rights to distribute them

So why dont you make all your addons open source? So people can carry on developing your addons and you won't have to think about it in the future and can move on!

Can you make an update that makes it work with ULX and is toggleable? I'm wanting to make my server public when there is no stream going and whitelisted when a stream is going.

Not currently, I'd have to rewrite some portions of it. I haven't been working with GMod lately so don't expect me to do it anytime soon. I can't imagine it being very hard to link it w/ ULX tho

Ok, is there a simple way to link it to ULX? This would be a good feature so that we (server owners / networks) can use it easily. Also is there a way to disable the whitelist addon? and re-enable it whenever i want to whitelist the server?

This addon isn't integrated w/ ULX. Look at the source files, I believe one of them has a list of ranks that can access the menu. Make sure your usergroup is in that list

When i use that command it says i dont have enough permissions but i have all perms. The perm isnt showing up in ULX though....

In your server files, go to that location wherever your server's installed

on the internet right ?

garrysmod\data\whitelist\whitelist.txt

where do you go to do it im a nood

It automatically saves to garrysmod\data\whitelist\whitelist.txt

where is the place to put all the whitlisted ppl i can see it?

If you have access to the server files, which I assume you do, put your SteamID in the data file located in data/whitelist
