I love this thing. Don't know if this a bug or just the thruster you can't q/e it unless you are moving left or right. I have been trying to get the Stealth field Generator working for this. Also thinking of something in the top compartment besides the drones.

I'd love to see a gunship/heavy attack model of this - also, I notice you use a lot of LCD screens for your Hermes line - have you thought of including the OCEANUS system on it (allows you to print out to LCD screens inventory contents, fuel amounts, power usage, ect).

I have a gunship coming out very soon hopefully, im about 90% done, but its not from the hermes line, I had intended to make one but I wasnt sure if you guys would want another hermes model? post up if you do and ill sort it :)

I'm hoping someone makes a 1x1x2 laser antenna - for large ships its 1x1x2, so why wouldn't it be the same for a small ship - it looks like they just cut off most of the 'base' of it, and made the ball on it a tiny bit smaller.

Also, any idea when the Hermes Gunship might be out?

You say this after I just reworked everything so all the reactors are able to draw from te Cargo holds! AAAAAAH! Love this ship. Working on a scenario with it.

Ok I think I have found the problem with the cargo system, when I was refiting i placed the medium cargo containers in the wrong way so the whole system wasnt working! also the seperate system in the floor had the conveyor and small cargo container the wrong way so everything should be accessible now (He says hopefully lol)

Ahtilah yeah this is Hal's little bother lol, picklejuice47 someone posted the other day saying the same thing, when I get a chance I will perform an "Autopsy" (haha) and find out whats wrong with it and update the world once ive fixed it :) thanks for the feed back though

Oh gawd! Hal 9000 has eyes everywhere in that ship! He even watches you sleep.... Creepy! Be warned to those who use the ship, if it tells you "Dave... I'm afraid I can't let you do that." Find the nearest airlock and eject from the ship! Grind yourself out if you have to!

Where am I supposed to refuel this thing at? None of he Cargo holds I have found are connected to the Reactors. Nothing outside either.

Kam Solatstor yeah that makes sense, I prefer the idea of one drone so i will make a fresh one to replace the existing 3 and the OCULOUS system is that the OCEANUS system?

In terms of recon, you can just make a 'stealth' mode (link up all the lights, engines, antennas, and beacons, and turn them off), and coast along near your target (with dampers off), and then use the camera/telescope on the front of the craft to get detailed looks of your target - eliminating really the need for the drones (which you'd also be able to see from the antenna, thrusters going, ect). This also leaves more room for a larger defensive drone. Also, looking forward to the gunship version!

I forgot to mention that what I was going for with the Recon Hermes was a ship that could Spy/Gather information, so I did not want to load her up with weapon systems Think the raptor from BSG, the recon has reloadable missile pods and 2 small ship auto cannons and these are primarilly to help punch a hole to escape if need be, this craft is not intended as a direct fighting ship (The others im working on are) so when my fleet is finnished all ships within it will all have primary functions that will compliment the rest :)

Vademielsen Ive stripped the recon down and checked the conveyor system's and everything should be working fine I couldnt see a reason why you should only have access to one reactor?, the reactors have 2 access points on the azimuth tiny reactor model so i daisy chained them together. now there are 2 reactor chains, the primary is hooked up to the main conveyor system( the one connected to both medium cargo containers) that one feeds the reactor/Weapons and cargo system, and a second line is rigged up in the floor that accesses a couple of reactors in the floor, access point for this one is in the floor between the 2 monitoring bays, if you or anyone else is still finding you can only access 1 reactor then post up here with any info :)

Thanks Kam Solastor for your feedback, you are correct about the drones being incredibly slow, but the idea for the cam drones was to simply drop them of close to your target and leave them to spy, the deffender drone is a last ditch effort drone to aid in your escape, now I may upgrade them so you have 1 cam drone and one deffense and give them better engines, as for the readouts ive never used the OCULOUS system but I will check it out and maybe apply it to both the recon and the transport version of the hermes,

I love the style of this ship (though the screens seem to just flash through symbols - perhaps some readouts of cargo space used, fuel remaining, ect, like the OCULOUS system?). Also, with the drone - they're okay, but the two 'spy' drones are kinda useless (also, those thrusters, while able to be placed everywhere, are very weak). Perhaps a single, larger defense/attack drone could be placed there? Alternatively, that area could be used for more turrets and weaponry.

There needs to be a way to to access the reactors in this one, only one reactor is accesible unless there is something i am missing, The ship overloads on just one reactor. Other than that I absolutely love the Hermes line

dresoccer4 they are mirrored button 1 brings the ramp in and out button 2 rotates the ramp up and down(do this affter the ramp stops moving) button 3 open/close the door button 4 was set up for a timer block to do it all but it didnt work properly, and thanks for the like and favorite :)
