It's almost 10 years old and there have been a lot of changes to the engine so I'm not sure. If it doesn't there are probably some other mods that do the same thing on the workshop.

Does this mod still work?

if you're worried about too fast this too fast that.. go get the aerodynamics mod.. and then shut your mouth.

@idea Space Engineers is not a realistic physics simulation. It is a video game. Video games have different logic. Your personal jetpack is literally not a ship, and it makes sense game balance -wise that it'd be considerably less powerful than one.

Tehpiano, maybe study some physics. Anything strapped to a jetpack will have a maximum speed based on the delta-v. A jetpack basically is a ship.

Ships weigh way more than players do, what logic are you using?

The same logic of 'a cooler bomb must explode bigger',
as if painting flames on a car makes it faster.

Probably the "its a ship and ships are faster than humans"
MugFail 17 May, 2022 @ 6:44pm
@Mobius That depends on how many thrusters you have facing backwards. Also depends on how powerful they are.
LosClipperos 21 Feb, 2022 @ 9:58am
@Tehpiano, it will cause you to die on your ship, as you will not be able to keep up with its momentum
Tehpiano 3 Nov, 2021 @ 4:55pm
maybe you can make it so that players can not go faster than the usual 110 cause it makes no sense that a player can move as fast as a ship

Do not drive on the ground at these speeds. The physics engine can't handle it and your vehicle will disintegrate. ALWAYS limit your wheels' max speed!

What about missiles? Still 100?

This mod is great, even works with jetpacks. Though one minor issue. My buddy and I are playing on survival, and normally, the jetpacks would allow up to get up to these speeds, yet when we logged into our world again, the jetpacks would top off at around 75 M/S. This has happened more than I can count. Leaving, then joining a world (after a period of time) disables or bugges the speed for the jetpack. I'm not certain about ship speeds as I haven't tested them out yet. But the jetpack is weird, lol.

Sounds like you need more reversing engines :steamhappy:
Mobius 4 Mar, 2020 @ 12:35pm
this sucks, takes 5 minutes to slow down from360mph...

Does this work in 1.185?
Yatta - Albino 1 Jul, 2017 @ 1:26pm
Works on Update 1.181.4, but over 200m/s ships start turning by themselves - probably because of physics engine limitations.

I have used this mod in a youtube video and given you credit in the description, I hope that's ok.
