@SGT. Sneed yeah it's been broken cause of the last stand update. I am currently setting aside time to update and fix this considering a lot of people still use this mod.

@Sexy Randall, The Pharaoh Wizard why yes. the only catch is the overlay texture with the helmet overlay cannot be visible as it's hard coded to be 1920x1080 and cannot scale with ultrawide. but the healthbar, team panels, weapon icons, and ammo numbers can scale and adjust.

Is it possible to have a version of this hud that works with Ultra Wide resolutions?

@Sully I might be lazy but you could just replace the crosshair texture with a transparent blank texture xD

Ok, I found how to disable the circle reticle: go to "...\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\Addon" and search for this file: 398091742.vpk. Open this file with notepad and go all the way to the bottom or just search (Ctrl+F) for "HaloCrosshair", keep searching until you come across a legible passage with stuff like "ControlName", "xpos" etc. Now replace the "1" with "0" on "visible" and "enable". So:

"visible" "0"
"enabled" "0"

And you're done. Save the file (while the game is closed) and you're good.

@Sully It's very easy to rid of and I agree. it's why the hud versions I use no longer have the circle reticle. mostly cause it also shows in third person too funny enough.

As many others have pointed out: Awesome HUD mod, but that circle reticle's gotta go. It just feels out of place and takes up too much space.

Please let me know if there's a way to turn it off. (Also, to be clear: the regular reticle is on top of that custom reticle. I don't know if it's supposed to be like that.)

@Gabe Reaper a lot of my hud mods need an update cause The Last Stand update changed how hud icons work now. which breaks some hud elements of these type of mods. my Halo 5 Buck HUD mod is the most up-to-date version which works just fine. so I suggest using that in the meantime until I update the other hud mods.

Hi this mod is not working for me anymore for some reason. it glitches out all the icons on my hud. even when I apply it on its own. I also placed it up in the list as you suggested. Do you have any idea what it might be, because it does add a lot to the halo vibe. thanks

Why does this mod not work with Helm's Deep Reborn? Helm's Deep is a map, this is UI and Miscellaneous.

This is amazing! Kind of wish there was a version that didn't have the crosshair in the middle thingy, but you can't have everything I guess!

@Clown Mime Acolyte I am working on updating this to use the new VGUI from the Buck hud but will remove the helmet overlay and keep the ODST overlay, wil lalso properly use the healthbar from ODST this time instead of the H4 one I used back when I first made this

Is it possible to make a variant of this hud with just the helmet and HP overlay? The stuff like the smaller ally icons, aside dialogue, and the replaced weapon icons when I have different weapon mods enabled doesn't mesh well with my brain.

@toasty boy you can easily disable it through the addons menu in L4D2's main menu.
