BUT did anyone else find that the author used the word "chummers" WAY too much? i mean at first i thought it was great that you're using the shadowrun slang, its great for immersion, but i definiately looked like you were shoehorning it into dialogue too much. if you replaced every instance of chummers with 'friends' then read it again you would immediately think "why does this guy talk about friends all the time?"
apart from that, good stuff
I hope this helps.
Made a Rigger, pleased that the option was supported by the module. Dealt with first fight easily enough, then the guards in the basement pretty much insta-killed me with grenades and overwhelming numbers.
Second attempt, played as a Shaman. Died a lot in fights but more or less managed to scrape though. Found keypad highly irritating, pretty much no option but to trial-and-error it (it is in no way clear which of the five incomplete codes is acutally the one that opens the door). Was wholly unable to kill guards on opposite side of door fast enough to escape gas (it takes three turns of your ten turn time limit just to reach the exit, then having to actually fight three guards with only an acid bolt and one flamethrower spell a round.
Maybe my save will be useful for future updates to this UGC after all? When the next act comes out, I'll let you know if my current save is still good.
I didn't lose my saves, and this UGC was available when I tried to start a new game, but the last update was listed as Jan 3, 2015. Any future changes to this UGC will probably not affect my save, so that character will be stuck in a back alley forever. Thus, my save is not deleted, but it won't be good for anything besides importing my character into another UGC.
It's a shame, but shit happens. Thankfully, this act is only a couple of hours, so it's not that painful to play it over again.
In theprevious upload, i asked when you planned to put out the sequels man.
Your work is great.
Cheers!
