Needless to say im looking forward to releasing the carrier, its the biggest project to date that I have worked on and yes it will have everything hooked up so it will function in survival. the hanger takes up about a quarter of the ship and an example of how big the hanger is it can take- 4 hermes transports 2 ready to go and 2 in reserve, 4 Long range recon hermes, 20 fighters 8 bombers and a gunship that im working on
I have one question, how much lag?
(Side Note)I have a reasonable sized carrier (1/5th the way of planned there and almost 500 blocks long) I am working on and it makes my FPS crash hard in some spots. Optimization has gotten way better in the last few weeks, dont know if it was hidden updates but before I couldn't even look in the direction of the totally finished 1/16th. Granted it is only a pair of GTX650 Ti Boost with a measly one gig of VRAM each and SLI is not yet supported (wouldnt help anyway, not enough VRAM).
(More Side Note) Should a listened to my gut and gotten the singe 680 instead, but no "save money" I thought. Oh well my tax refund is going to a set of 2 980s so I'll be set for a while.
