The location is fictional. But the temple designs do take inspiration from SE Asia.

beautiful, and good design. However objective a is too far away from japanese spawn. As well, some of the paths to c are 'out of the combat zone'.

Epic map! One of my favourites for Rising Storm. The sun gives it a great atmosphere. SNLF marines would be cool, as suggested below.

Defwen you're work in this map is great. Very professionalized map layout. It would be cool to see a couple of booby traps that people can hide in, on the map.

The map is inspired by area around Hue (Vietnam). Mayako is a girl name and sounds unique and awesome, that's why the map name is what it is.

This is a dope map, like previously stated I wish these were in the rotations as well. I also hope that a vietnam add on might be made with hopefully a shred of accuracy becasue this game could run it succesfully and make it fun. The only truly good nam game has been Men of Valor and that was for the orignal Xbox

does it contain the SNLF (special naval landing forces) japanese marines? we only see them on betio and that sub base map. it would be nice to see the elite soldiers on this map

We just played it a few times on online server and nearly everyone enjoyed it only 1 person didn't enjoy it but that may be because he didn't know the map and got killed a few times at the start but once he played for awhile i think he started to enjoy it, this is one of the most enjoyable maps around a new personal favourite for me.

Well Done 5 out of 5 stars. :)
