Also, are the lasers randomized? I died three times in this part. First two attempts, I crouched (CTRL key for PC), and the laser went over me. But for the third death, I was killed by the laser.
-There's so much going on in terms of what the computer has to generate. It doesn't feel friendly to players who may also have somewhat aged PCs. Mine is about 4 or so years old. Not exactly top notch, but I can play WoW raids and such just fine with it, so that's kind of my bar for comparison. The part on the third (I think) chapter where you have to go down the really long umbrella elevator was an absolute nightmare. All the way to the laser room. Can't really fight a horde, much less a tank with so much lagging and rubber banding going on.
-The laser room was really nice. Loved it. However, I died to it. The only reason I survived it the second time is because I found a way to cheat it. Maybe it should just incap the player rather than outright kill. Due to the previous lagging issues and such, having to make it back to this point made playing feel like a chore for the rest of the campaign.
Brilliant idea and design, but I can't say I'd ever play this one again.
Thank you again for letting me know and I hope you didn't have issues with the campaign! <3

For now gets "unplayable" for me. Until fixed.
throught this map, so crazy sh*t bro, i like it
Otherwise, can I confirm if you no-clipped to the room?
Take care during these times
I'll have to check the clipping setup on those doors to the gas offices because it shouldn't be able to jam you and kill you, so it's a shame it did; I'm sorry about that.
Thank you for taking the time to play and review the campaign :)
Overall, I really enjoyed this one and will likely play it again, but I wanted to give you my honest feedback; thanks for creating this awesome content!
Overall I absolutely loved it. I am a resident evil fan and I enjoyed how true to form so many of the locations were. The atmosphere was beautiful and I can't wait to share this with one of my other friends who really enjoys the franchise. I did not enter the laser hallway and my friends did. I don't know why, but we all know how that went.
That said, I do think there are some issues that I wanted to point out. First, we had a lot of deaths that felt really bad. The first was in the room with the gas doors (from the opening scenes of the movie. The doors closed on me as we were leaving and killed me outright. I'm don't believe that was intentional, but as I'm not familiar with making maps it does seem like something that is avoidable, but I don't know for sure.
(continued)
Can you go into the developer console and see if it offers the maps to play, e.g. map the_hive_m1?
1.disable the licker model
2.unsubscribe from it in steam workshop
3.do a 'verify integrity of game cache' for l4d2 (you can find guides on google)
or
4.use the developer console to disable mod checking using the command 'sv_consistency 0' (there are guides to use the developer console on the internet)
Not to mention it reminds me that the adaptations exist in the first place.
