Just FYI, Aluminum can be detected by a metal detector as log as it is of the active variety. Passive metal detectors on the other hand can not.

I work in a similar setting to the game, I just detected a phone with a wand detector and they also go off in the walk through ones... :alpen:

Im just going to put this out here.... We are all arguing over what materials phones are made of to debate if they would actually set off a detector.....

When like.... 5 seconds on google would clearly demonstrate that phones can and do set off real world detectors all the time.

Phones also contain small amounts of gold in their circuitry.

I think what he means is that aluminium isn't ferromagnetic and thus won't trigger your usual metal detector. Anyway, it's a game and if you want to detect phones, do it. Else just skip this mod. ;)

Did you check they're actually enabled in-game? Just subscribing isn't enough. You have to go to extras->mods while in the game, check the mods there and hit apply mods.

I simply cant get them working...
Lighers and phones does not show as metal and drugs does not show as smelly.

This just makes sense... Why this isn't in the normal game is the real mystery
