The d-day map comes with the mod from the store page. It's linked in the description here.

I CANNOT FIND THE D DAY MAP , and i cant find any servers for heroes of the west. help!!!!

the servers which supports the Heroes of the West MOD are those that in the Server Browser on the map name have written this: WF-MapName

i opened heroes of the west, clicked on a oosterbeek server, says the host has a map i do not have, and therefore i cant play .

Oosterbeek comes with the Steam game download.

I have no idea what you're talking about. Did you make sure to download the mod from its Steam store page? This collection no longer contains the mod, btw, just custom maps.

like just having the files in ro2 folder

is there anyway to have the mod without having is on our steam library ?

HotW could be added as official content once polished and more heavy in term of content, is it reliable or tripwire put already ro2/rs as abandonware?

jeeze, no edit button, that last bit about being a fun gamemode and was missing until now is not a complaint. I just failed on proofreading before posting.

Only real complaints I have are that the German smoke nade is refered to as the jap grenade launcher instead of their water candle smoke nade, german satchel charge is refered to as the katana not that type [somenumber I can't remember] satchel charge they have as seen in the iwo jima map on the ammo supply stations behind points A and B. It's a fun gamemode and was missing in Ro2/Rising storm for a while now.

To add to d_caddy_18: why not include all of those things, inculding mortar? If not hand mortar, fixed mortars. Like in Darkest Hour. Would be nice to see radiomen as well so Officers can stay near the frontline and be more active in the fight

not to sound ungrateful for all the hardwork the team are already putting in but is there a chance that instead of the knee mortors in RS maybe rifle grenades an option for yanks and maybe panzerfausts ect for germans?...i dont know if the germans had rifle grenades but i know allies had...i always thought it would of balanced abit on Rising Storm, i was suprised they didnt put them in the game.....also i cant seem to download the MOD can anyone post a step by step of how i can get into a server and play.

Look for servers running maps that begin with "WF". Just sort your server browser by map name to make it easy.
