I could, but that'd break compatibility for anyone who doesn't have the expansion, and I'd rather not do that.

Disabled capital start, tried all factions, didn't get any crash... what version of the game are you running? What does the crash message say?

A third one should show up... does the mod appear in the DLC and Mods menu? Does it say "Active" or "Installed and Inactive"? If the latter, you should click on it to enable the mod then restart the game.

Is there a way to unlock the map for Sicily, corsica and sardinia? Setting up more of a naval empire would be heaps of fun. I'd imagine having to mod the map that extensively wouldn't be easy though.
