@ Nivonne: Vavle is going to switch the game to Source Engine 2 later this year. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that the reason why they're saying "no" to custom particles this time around?

Unfortunately they said not to submit custom particles for the event so we didn't touch the impact particles. Maybe Valve will change them themselves if the item is accepted.

Will the cleave particle effect be changed with it? Even if you just colored the leaves pink, it would look nicer than having the stock green effect.
