valhrafnaz  [author] 13 Nov, 2019 @ 8:06am
Yeah, sure. I would like to work on it again at some point, but I don't really play CK2 anymore and I got no time to keep working on this with uni and other work taking priority. If anyone wants to be an author of this mod, just msg me and I will add you.
Captain 12 Nov, 2019 @ 6:26am
I see that now, that's too bad. It was a great idea.. if someone was interested in "taking it over" and just keeping it up to date without making any large changes... would you be okay with that?
valhrafnaz  [author] 12 Nov, 2019 @ 6:06am
I shelved this over 3 years ago and I will most likely never update it again
Captain 11 Nov, 2019 @ 11:21am
Can't wait for future updates! Welcome to my default ironman modlist
ASVP 21 Oct, 2019 @ 7:22am
It would be appreciated if one had the title of Bretwalda (or Brytenwalda, Bretenanwealda) for Anglo-Saxons when they hold the kingdom of England (or Englaland)
RdB 24 Jun, 2016 @ 5:25am
Thats sad.
valhrafnaz  [author] 23 Jun, 2016 @ 10:35am
This mod is shelved for now
Miss Victoria (Вікторіа) 22 Jun, 2016 @ 9:27pm

RdB 1 May, 2015 @ 5:02am

valhrafnaz  [author] 10 Apr, 2015 @ 5:01am
Sorry Guys, I am working full-time at the moment, I dont know if I ll be able to continue working on this mod, you can take the files I made and continue them in your mod, or I can make you an author of this mod, if you ask me to. Sorry to let you down.

Can you please link/provide the full list of localised titles for Anglo-Saxon and English cultures please, and do you know how this mod interacts with "High Kings and Consuls"?
RaWtrack  [author] 16 Feb, 2015 @ 6:17am
FYI: Partially compatible with v2.1.6. Does not crash or impair any events, only messes up some names and uses the code name (e.g.: tribal duchy 'Kola Sami' displays as 'd_kola'.) Also shows the code text for centralisation laws. Otherwise it is perfectly functional.
TheSquirrelofHuscurl 3 Feb, 2015 @ 12:37pm
Thanks.:fhappy:
valhrafnaz  [author] 3 Feb, 2015 @ 12:02am
...in the native language
valhrafnaz  [author] 3 Feb, 2015 @ 12:02am
In the best case it will be the native language. But the conjunctions ('of', 'von', 'de') still remain the same, at least until now. Though norse still features just 'better' titles, since I did not find fitting ones.
TheSquirrelofHuscurl 2 Feb, 2015 @ 1:18pm
Wait, does this take the titles and put them in english or from english into the native language?
I.e. Emporer of the Holy Roman Empire into Kasier of the Holy Roman Reich.
[LK]Vikeeso 30 Jan, 2015 @ 10:29am
Okey thank you for the quick anwser, i must see if it works or, not
valhrafnaz  [author] 30 Jan, 2015 @ 9:26am
Sorry to let you guys, but new updates wont come till next sunday, the 8th Feb, and even after that I have to do some deadline work, so I can't promise anything :(
valhrafnaz  [author] 30 Jan, 2015 @ 9:10am
I don't know, but it could be incompatible, since I did not (yet) move the translations to a new file, dunno if Ck2 plus does that. All the changes are done in the text1.csv, so it won't break anything, when you use it, but there is a possiblity that it does not work.
[LK]Vikeeso 30 Jan, 2015 @ 6:54am
does it work with Ck2 Plus mod?
Linktwo  [author] 26 Jan, 2015 @ 11:51am
This is quite the honor, I have been made co author.
I'm just the one that will try and organize this and help out as good as possible

Here is what the modder want:
instead of one page per culture, there should be one page for each culture group.
http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/workshop/filedetails/discussion/377227421/613948093892635811/

here is a list of the cultures and the culture groups:
http://www.ckiiwiki.com/Culture#List_of_Cultures
Linktwo  [author] 26 Jan, 2015 @ 11:08am
I have added Norwegian titles in The "North Germanic culture group" page.
It's formarly known as "Norse Titles" page.
valhrafnaz  [author] 26 Jan, 2015 @ 10:25am
Gonna start to put some titles together now, but I prob won't be finished with everything you guys gave me until end of the week, but I will throw out what I did everyday + change notes & crediting!
Linktwo  [author] 26 Jan, 2015 @ 10:16am
Go ahead and do it :D
Do you know the Frisian names aswell? maybe it's too much effort but If you know anything please look into what you can and give us the results.
If you need help with the formating I will do my best to help out.
Scoutju92 26 Jan, 2015 @ 9:34am
If you want to localise the Dutch ones as well: Ill translate them for you
biodtox 26 Jan, 2015 @ 7:47am

Linktwo  [author] 25 Jan, 2015 @ 2:07pm

Linktwo  [author] 25 Jan, 2015 @ 2:03pm
^ at the top/middle of this page there is some "discussion pages" that I added, you can edit and add your own pages without any special requierments.
The comments can't be edited... only deleted

@[Ialdur] You are doing a great job. Can you take out my "how to help" post and see if it is a good template
the norse titles are kinda hard and a old language .... so I want a better example which is easier to understand... perhaps an english, german, spanish and french one :)
It would be awesome if we got russian added aswell :D
biodtox 25 Jan, 2015 @ 6:18am
Also, if belarussian culture is added at some point (which would be good seeing how we have old belarussian tribes in Charlemagne) I could try to translate titles. I live near polish-belarussian border and I study at school that teaches belarussian language (my first year of studying that language so I'd mostly ask teachers and look titles up in dictionary).
biodtox 25 Jan, 2015 @ 6:11am
I'm not a modder so I don't know how to but from I saw in "Norse titles" it should be something like this: baron_polish,Kasztelan,, right? And I have to use latin letters instead of polish?
valhrafnaz  [author] 25 Jan, 2015 @ 2:36am
I have an idea for making this mod grow faster, because you all have given me a lot of titles to implement and I am fucking grateful for that! Best Community ever! But I will need so much fucking time to convert those titles into the .csv structure, so it will take forever to use all the titles. Shall I do a "preset" version, where you can just enter the titles then post them like Linktwo did? By doing that everything becomes easier for me to handle :)
CactusMan 25 Jan, 2015 @ 2:31am
Can you make Lithuanian kings be referred to as Grand Dukes and the kingdom title as the Grand Duchy? Lithuania only had 1 King throughout it's history but had many Grand Dukes. A Grand Duchy is the same as a Kingdom it just has a different name.
biodtox 24 Jan, 2015 @ 1:36pm
Since I can't edit comments (which is stupid) I'll write separate comment.
I made some typos:
- Gmina should be from capital letter
- Kasztelanka should be from capital letter.
- I forgot 1 ")" at the end of Duke part.

Also, I forgot about kingdom:

- Kingdom - Królestwo
- King - Król (Queen - Królowa)
biodtox 24 Jan, 2015 @ 1:28pm
Because comment was too long I've split it into parts. This is PART 1.

From medival:

- Barony (if we are talking about castle) : Zamek [Note: Since barony is castle/temple/city you could use gmina, but I think that wouldn't be right]
- Baron - Kasztelan (Baroness - I have no idea, only logical female form is "kasztelanka" but that's kasztelan's daughter. Also, more about female ruler form in Duke part)
biodtox 24 Jan, 2015 @ 1:28pm
Because comment was too long I've split it into parts. This is PART 2.

I don't know about the rest but from PLC's administative division:

- Duchy - Województwo
- Duke - Wojewoda (Duchess - Wojewodzina [Note: This is how wife of wojewoda is called. If female has this position and after it there is adjective, the adjective is in female form. (there isn't such a thing in English, but the exaple is: Male - Wojewoda łodzki, Female: Wojewoda Łódzka)]

- County - Powiat
- Count - Starosta (Countess - Starościna, same situation as Duchess)

Poland never had emperor but in Polish:

- Empire - Cesarstwo
- Emperor - Cesarz (Empress - Cesarzowa)
biodtox 24 Jan, 2015 @ 1:27pm
Because comment was too long I've split it into parts. This is PART 3.

As for the cities, I don't know how rulers were called but in Polish:

City - Miasto
Mayor - Burmistrz

And temples:

Temple - Świątynia
Priest - Kapłan (for pagan Poland)
Bishop - Biskup (for catholic Poland)

[/b] Because there aren't any polish letters in CK2 change them into latin ones ( ó into o , ł into l etc.)[/b]

@IrishHugo
Thanks, I didnt know word order mattered in Irish. I suppose my years of Latin had me thinking that Irish being similar to it.
GreatWyrmGold 24 Jan, 2015 @ 3:57am
Everyone has obligations. Tuesday counts as "at some point".
valhrafnaz  [author] 24 Jan, 2015 @ 2:02am
@GreatWyrmGold I will implement every title I can find, but I have no time at the moment, you'll have to wait at least till monday, probably till Tuesday before I add the titles that were given in the comments + some I researched on my own.
IrishHugo 24 Jan, 2015 @ 1:45am
Apache14 Emperor would be Ard Ri, not Ri Ard.
GreatWyrmGold 23 Jan, 2015 @ 6:48pm
Is it a fair guess that you'll be doing titles for those other than Portuguese, Norse, Welsh,a nd Bohemians at some point?
apache 23 Jan, 2015 @ 1:26pm
Irish titles: (some have accented letters which i am unable to type)

Baron/Baroness: barun/banbharun
Barony: baruntacht
(Barony of: baruntacht de)

City: cathair
Mayor: meara
(City of: chathair)

Bishop: brathair (directly translated to brother or friar, this suits the bishop title better though. and its shorter than the word for bishop)
Bishopric: mainistir (directly translated from monastery, also more suitable for Ireland than bishopric)
(Bishopric of: mainistir)

Count/Countess: tiarna/bhean
County: contae
(County of: contae)

Duke/Duchess: diuice/bandiuc
Duchy: ard
(Duchy of: diucacht)

King/Queen: ri/banrion
Kingdom: riocht
(Kingdom of: riocht)

Emperor/Empress: ri ard (high king), impire (emperor)/ banrion ard (high queen)
(empress direct translation nonexistant)
Empire: riocht ard (high kingdom), impireacht (empire)
(Empire of: riocht ard, impireacht na)

hope this helps
