Well, ideally, I'd like to be able to move any part through the small conveyors and cargo containers. Right now, I'm trying to make a decoy-launcher system for my medium-sized fighter, but some of the components for making the projections won't go through small cargo containers and conveyors - so I'd either have to redesign my fighter, or figure out a way to *make* them fit - and it makes sense that a decoy that's 1x1x1 size wouldn't need a radio component that's about 3x1x1 size..

I have a question - as a standalone mod, could you perhaps look into making it so that larger items could travel through small-ship conveyors and cargo spaces?

Part 2.

What I did not like:
* Heavy armor is now 75-100% heavier, I would leave it as in vanilla.
* Full rewrite of cube blocks definitions, 70-80% of which are identical to the vanilla.
* Changes to LandingGear, reduced number of steel plates can result in fragile landing gear.
* Not documented changes, like refinery speed, deformation rates, weld time, etc.
* Changes in cost of turrets, lower number of componets results in more fragile object.
* Small errors in armor definition, like Index="1" where it should actually be "0" since there is only single component.

Part 1. Steam actually has 1k char limit on comment o_o.

To sum up my personal opinion, things I liked in this mod:
* Container changes.
* ComponAnt rebalance.
* Conveyer cost rebance (it should not be more cost effective to build small containers instead plastic tube lol)
* Catwalks (in my option they should still require feew construction components, like basically everything else)
* Although not advetized, I still like changes to antenas/beacons and passenger seats.

Thanks for moving it out into a separate mod.
I do understand why small/large steel plates are there, it could be good for small ships with lots of slop armor, but it could have been done with less changes to the original objects - more objects modified means more potential conflicts and more problems with synchronizing mod with an official update, which is every week in near future.
You could just change display name of vanilla steel plates to large* and leave all objects just as is.

Also, I see that mod still rewrites whole CubeBlocks.sbc file, this is't good, it actually misses textblock, so it prob from an old version of SE.
The mod also changes blast furnace refinery speed and few other params, like deformation rate, that was not advertised in description -_-

@ Lynnuxx, I agree most of my changes are common sense, I think its one of thous things thats so small it tends to get over looked but makes a big diferance.

WELL there is a reason for the addition of the small steel plates, check your small ships do they weigh less? they should. I can switch over to small steel plates just for armor but people tend to not like having a componenet for just one thing. ill berid the armor changes and add a link to my last mod that added other armors and the weight fix.

After a closer look, this mod makes too many unnecessary changes to all existing blocks (replacing steelplate with LargeSteelPlate), it will conflict a lot with any mod that modifies existing blocks and future updates for SE, not to mention that it won't work with any mod that adds new blocks that use steel plates...
Please make LargeSteelPlate into a separate mod. Better if instead of adding LargeSteelPlate it would add SmallSteelPlate to use in armors only and no where else.

Great that someone is trying to balance stuff. And not the way like some others do, comparing to todays' technology and then nerfing stuff but by just removing obvious errors.
Sad that a player has to do this.
