Can we have the speed step 0.25, that is 0.5, 0.75, 1, 1.25, 1.5, 1.75, 2... (Remove speed factor > 2 if you feel that's too much speed values)

Yes! In the mod settings set Buttons to Off, set the Default multiplier to 1 (normal speed for the main character) and set Faster followers? to 25 percent or 50 percent and all followers will run at 125% or 150% speed. =)

Is there a way to set it so that only followers are faster? Like as fast as the player, without making the player any faster?

Pretty sure this mod causes a pretty significant lag buildup when using it on a hosted game. When enabled, things gradually take longer and longer to go from interacting with them to having that interaction registered with the server and performed. I can't use this at the moment, unfortunately.

Nope. Sorry, but that would make it more cheating than modding. Also because of the way the mod is written it would not lag less. I am currently working on an optimization, but I don't know yet when it will be done or when I'll be able to upload it.

can u make this for only the mod user and not the others? so i can walk fast and dont have to deal with the lag issues in multiplayer?

I've set up the options, and everything. (Maybe because i'm not able to activate it on client?)

Ive now gone through every mod, and this is the only one causing problems for me. I would love to use it if I can actually reach it to apply.

Before leaving my post I systematically checked each mod to verify this one created the issue, and after removing the mod from my subscriptions the issue was resolved. I can't say for certain what the documents may say (since said file doesn't exist), however I did attempt the "Clean All" method several times before and the issue was unresolved. Furthermore, I did attempt to re-download the mod and the issue reappeared immediately. I suppose this doesn't really help much and I'm sorry I couldn't do more.

Well that's not good, but I haven't been able to recreate this problem. Have you tried the "Clean All" function in the mod menu, verifying the game files and/or are you entirely sure this is caused by this mod? Could you check what Documents\klei\donotstarvetogether\log.txt says after such a crash?

Great mod, however recently the game crashes when scrolling through the mod's menu and reaching this mod in view/configuration. This also occurrs when attempting to enable the mod in the mods tab of the host game menu. Please Fix.

I'm suffering from lag which is caused by this mod. I can notice the reason of lagging by switching on/off all of my mods. Finally I can realize that when I play together first time with friend as host, your mod makes some lag. you can reproduce this issue by following steps below.
1. turn on speed mod
2. create host (either online or online)
3. client join the roome (host just opens the room and doesn't join)
3.1 check client's speed by falling a tree or pick up anything
4. host join
4.1 check the speed of now and the speed of 3.1
If you follow this ways, you can find the difference of 3.1/4.1
This issue can fix automatically when host is re-started.

I have done what you suggested. I used the "broom"/ sweeping function to clear out all the mods, re-subscribed the mods, the enabled them again. I found out that if I disable the "button" function, the speed will not change when the game is loaded. If I enable the "button" function, the game will load and the speed will still start off with the game's default speed, but when I changed the speed using the "button", it will work.

For example, in the mods menu, I choose speed 2, button on. When the game loads, the speed is still at the game's default choice even though the button shows "2". I need to change it from there again, then it will work. This is true in both brand new servers, and current in-game servers. I am not sure why this is the case. I am happy it works anyhow!

Okay, well that sucks. The mod still works fine for me. Did you try disenabling the mod and resuming the server, leaving the server and then resuming it with the mod enabled again? Or creating a new server with the mod enabled? What mod settings are you using?

In what way is it not working? Like, is the game crashing (and in that case is there a crash log)? Are the buttons showing up but your speed isn't changing when you click them? Are the buttons not showing up but the speed is changed? Are the buttons not showing up and the speed is normal even though you've specified differently in the mod settings of this mod on the specified server?

Have you tried using the "Clean All" option (looks like a broom) in the mod tab of the server and then enabling the mod and resuming the server again?

I hope one of these suggestions makes it work for you again :)

Thank you for replying! I read your reply awhile ago, and I started the game following what you have mentioned. I chose the server I was playing, and enabled the mod. Afterwhich, the mod was working! But.... After about 10, 15 minutes, there was an update (around 5.40 GMT). And then the mod stopped working again.. I really tried to enable the mod with the server I am playing on. I even quit the game, and exited Steam a few times, but the mod doesn't work again... Not sure if it is just me. I will keep trying. If it works, I will update you! Thank you so much for your time and effort!

What I noticed when I played the game to try and see if the mod was broken by the latest update, is that they have changed the interface of the game a lot. So now you have to specify which mods you wanna use for each server instead of what mods you wanna use all the time. After I enabled the mod this way it seemed to work fine. If this was not the issue you were referring to please specify in what situation or way the mod seems broken to you so that I can recreate it and hopefully fix it.

Every time I subscribe and load DST Steam.exe crashes before I can even enable the mod.

This mod only works for the host.

Workes some time but now when i go into "mods" game crashes... too bad.
