It was the rear thrusters. With thruster damage on, it kill itself within seconds due to burning it's insides out. I moved the thrusters to the angled bit between the drill heads and it's fine now. Can't see anything when mining while remote controlling it, but I've learned to cope.

Having the same issue as matokla. Build it to spec, fire it up, and it explodes as it starts to move. Any ideas?

I weldered this in survival mode with a projector. I missed no block. But every time i try to remote control it something inside explodes and tear the drone apart.
