For anyone wondering, Yes this mod is still working. You have to type "snd_restart" when it doesn't work. (This fix also applies to the other one.)

I normally like these, but there is a reason most people don't have the sound effect play, every time you fire.

Keeping it to reloading and fire-mode selection is better, IMO.
