You should probably have this mod load after any other mod that changes the mage robes and hoods in any way, including texture changes and statistics.

should this mod be high priority?
BorderWise  [author] 20 Aug, 2016 @ 2:11pm
Did you install any other mods between sessions, or change the load order of your mods?
Ysbryd Aur 19 Aug, 2016 @ 3:13pm
It worked earlier but after I just turned skyrim on once it just seemed to stop, same for the novice and apprentice hoods.
BorderWise  [author] 19 Aug, 2016 @ 2:17pm
Huh. It works for me. Do you have other mage hood mods that might be conflicting with this one?
BorderWise  [author] 19 Aug, 2016 @ 2:13pm
Oh, don't tell me after all this time I forgot to change the bloody beast race hood mesh...
Ysbryd Aur 19 Aug, 2016 @ 2:01pm
I mean the hood models dont match the robe, this is the adept hood and robe

Yes, you just have to swap the right meshes in the Creation Kit. Might look a bit odd, though.

Is their a way to use the male hood model on a female character?
BorderWise  [author] 15 Dec, 2015 @ 1:24pm
Glad to hear it. :)

Just thought it'd be nice to have access to original robe modles as well but
ye it's probably not worth it.
Well no problem ... the new robes are alright themselves
BorderWise  [author] 29 Nov, 2015 @ 2:34pm
That would be surprisingly difficult... and that's kind of in the game already, considering that blue, black and monk robes are in the game and be enchanted. I could do it, but it would be a lot of work for what would end up being only a slight modification of the vanilla game, unless there's a shortcut I could take that would achieve similar results. :/

It would be better if alternative robes are available for player separate to normal robes. so college wizards will wear the normal robes etc. If you could make it so in an update that would be great.

lol, alright. I need to trawl the mods again
BorderWise  [author] 3 Aug, 2015 @ 6:36pm
Tempting... but there's already an abundance of pretty dress mods out there. And my texture work has gotten better, but it's still pretty bad. :D
Tuprewm 3 Aug, 2015 @ 12:36pm
You could always take the meshes of the in game dresses and recolor them. :)
BorderWise  [author] 2 Aug, 2015 @ 2:11pm
I know they aren't dresses. I just couldn't resist the idea of saying that classy mages wear women's clothing. XD
Tuprewm 2 Aug, 2015 @ 12:40pm
Not arguing that the dress style should increase immersion, but those aren't really dresses, from what I've seen. And, the college robes are the only way my character ever gets to wear pants.

@dave45: You're welcome! Glad you like it!

Just downloaded this, and liked it from the first time I saw my mage wearing her new outfit. The vanilla robes were ok, but theese are better. ty for making this mod.
BorderWise  [author] 10 Jan, 2015 @ 5:30pm
@cstpierre: Thanks, good to hear you like it!
@MrToroTheGreat: That option is (kind of) in the vanilla game already, assuming you don't mind enchanting stuff.
@Melletch: At the moment I can only use what the game gives me, as I don't have the know-how to remesh or retexture. I do believe there is a mod on the nexus for the wizard hat, though.
Melletch 10 Jan, 2015 @ 3:32pm
Yep. And some more bulky or lean robes would be nice too. : ) Maybe a few stacked wizard's hats too
Delver 10 Jan, 2015 @ 1:13pm
While I think these robes are very appropriate for mages, I'd prefer the option of having both vanilla and modded robes.
Cappy Quads 10 Jan, 2015 @ 12:53pm
Makes the college of winterhold feel less like a dressing contest and more like a school for mages. Great job! (I always hated the old bulky college robes.)

@Kyenta: Aww, thanks. :D
Kyenta 8 Jan, 2015 @ 7:23pm
am glad you did :)
BorderWise  [author] 8 Jan, 2015 @ 3:57pm
@Kyenta: Thanks! I never saw or heard of a mod which does this. It's why I made it, really. :)
Kyenta 8 Jan, 2015 @ 3:07pm
liking the idea :) wonder if anyone else thought of this and why it wasnt done before...
BorderWise  [author] 4 Jan, 2015 @ 7:43pm
@Melletch: Cheers! :D
Melletch 4 Jan, 2015 @ 7:11pm
