Wasn't the Mongol Empire bigger?
The impression 'conquered the known world at the time" is meant to show the power and glory of the Romans. Everything is not always meant to be accurate. Its just a glorifying term
Yeah it should be compatible with DLC's too
indeed they were.
Due to the 1000 word limit, I could not complete my answer but I was going to end in a thanks for the comment and was going to ask you if you have any more questions.
Thank you
sorry for the late reply, been busy with things.
The term "Over the world" indeed did have a little exageration to it.It was referring to the roman army, screw the politics and the weak emperors. The Roman empire was referred to as the cleansers of Europe as they took over half of it. Although it did not conquer the known world at the time the term still applies just to show their might. The same goes with Alexander and sometimes Napoleon. Ancient China I agree was a really strong empire but they werent united and they had problems with the Indians as well but if they all fought united they could have conquered lots of lands. China at that time was also repeling the mongol threat. You are right, but if the Romans had Reached China they would have actually Conquered them without a big hassle. . So the phrase is based on the the Roman army not the size of the empire.
Brw nice mod
@Pink Guy Eagle Cohorts were encouraging units. They were a few in every Roman legion.
But in this game they seem to be the main units of every army so I wanted to change that.
