Ok, it's working, thank you very much :)

It's the original mod archive from steam - zip :)

You can extract it manually or just put it into AoE\mods and keep your subscription, it should be detected and used then as normal by AoE.

It's .zip or .rar?

I would be the most grateful :)

Thanks, great you like them. :D:

I can upload it to my skydrive in about two hours when I'm home from work.

Hello, your mods are awesome, could you update for example this pack to somewhere else for manual install?
STRŸFJÓN™ 4 Feb, 2015 @ 4:29am
Thanks for the replies. Other tree mods, bushes, units, and that corpse mod where units stay longer (I forgot what it's called) would work fine with the texture pack? So many questions I wanna ask. If you want, can we take this through a private messaging?
Ozhara  [author] 4 Feb, 2015 @ 4:25am
I can take a look at the trees. Let's see what I can do. :)

It really depends on your taste which one to use.

There are 3 v6 available with different grass terrains for example... ;)

Because there are so many versions now and it's diffiicult to say if a terrain pack fits your likings from just 2-3 screens, I add that many to my mods (20-30).

For the difference between this mod and the older ones is mostly that I got some experience in doing this while doing it.
So my used techniques changed over time and therefore the possibilities and the resulting look.
Beside this I tried something completelly new for the look of a terrain from time to time while other terrains are mostly unchanged througout some versions versions. This was partly for requests I got, partly just for trying something new.
All together this is the biggest difference between the versions I think, the used style. Therefore I think most packs are no real updates, but alternatives.

Ah, so V6 is the right way to go then? Is there any way that you can make the textures smoother for the trees in V6? They look too grainy, or something.

The only pack named FE (beside the v2 update) should be my grim & gritty terrains v1. I chose the FE addition back then because it was actually the very first mod I uploaded with the FE changes in mind.

All my newer terrain packs already contain the additional rock terrain (I think that was around v4). All other terrains are untouched in FE file wise.
In case you use HD, there is an unused terrain then - that's ignorable.

For my older terrain packs released before FE there is an update that adds the rock terrain and changes the beach one to better fit the new placing possibilities of FE for that terrain type.

V2 is still that popular although I released v6 in the meantime and several special ones, I decided to do a slight update to v2. That's v2 FE, that already includes the rock terrain and slightly tweaks the terrains with some new input from newer packs. But I kept the overall look of v2, so it looks much more than v2 than my newer terrains.

Won't I need those terrain updates or something? (What's the difference between this and your V2 and V1 FE Editions?)
Ozhara  [author] 4 Feb, 2015 @ 2:13am
It does. :)

Does this fully work for Forgotten Edition?

Glad you like it. :)

And a happy new year!
