You don't have to modify the SCars base under any circumstance. There's a shit tonne of features in it you can't access from the basic editor, such as custom tyres, guns, and seat rotations.

1.)I do know a decent amount of lua. Unless, as stated in the paragraph after this, I want to modify the SCars base, I cannot add multiple wheel types. Sakarias' system for wheels (when spawning, not via the wheel model tool) just grabs a single model name and slaps it on everything in addition to the positions/settings for each. I'd have to change his base to look for each wheel's specific model when grabbing the position/settings. I don't feel like breaking everything.
Vehicle rotating via Lua is completely impossible due to the way the engine handles vehicles.
It's SCars, not scars or SCAR as those are three completely different things.
