IIRC the original patch did not merge red skills or tech effects either, the red skills/tech from Cataph's mod affected Cataphs units and the red skills/techs from Red's mod affected Red's units, with zero crossover. I always thought was dumb. It was very much like playing two entirely separate rosters that were just sort of added to the same faction.

Do I need to unsubscribe from the previous patch I already have, and then resubscribe to this patch? Or should I subscribe to both? Thank you very much.

I'll take a loot at it. That's probably because the red skill tree affects same-faction units and Red's units aren't being considered as same-faction. I'll hopefully be able to fix it soon

Thank you for the compatibility patch. I don't know if its intended, but the red skill tree perks do not affect Red's units.
For example Sticks and Stones weapon strength +3% does not affect Piqueros and Armor +3 to Rodeleros
I tried putting the patch above and below Red's Overhaul but it doesn't seem to change anything.

The victory conditions are determined via Lua script, which unfortunately I have no idea how to work with. However, I did try a workaround that hopefully fixes the victory conditions.

Well, the Estalia victory condition bug remains, however, the victory conditions for the Kadavo expedition seem to work as expected.
