for some reason i can respawn before the respawn button appears by pressing space and it breaks everything

Yes, the survival time is counted from the moment you respawn. NPC kills are also tracked fresh each time you respawn and the gamemode name is retrieved using engine.ActiveGamemode()

Zippy's ragdoll damage physics isn't compatible, all that happens when you die is you can't see your body. :)
