@StrifeXIII Thank you.

@Scotvince the "map markers" including city names are hidden in the new Pure Terrain map mode this mod adds. It is close to the bottom of the map modes list in the game and you can see it in action in the first gif image in the mod description above.

@DanielAir you can take a look at the basic mod this is based off of https://github.com/terrapass/ck3-modutil-skybox/tree/master from CK3 and see if the HOI4 files have similar files to add the skybox mesh and tweak to the camera zoom tilt to 17 degrees at closest level.

I don't know how to hide the cities names like on your screenshots

@DanielAir I am also curious

Hm. Well, most hoi4 players don't really care about graphics, so maybe that's why. How is the trick done? I can try implementing it myself.

@DanielAir To be honest I'm not sure, I don't play a lot of HOI4 and don't have much exposure to its files, but I think it's running on an older engine perhaps it won't support adding the skybox tiles to the edge of the map. I'm surprise others haven't done it already if it were possible as popular as that game is.

@abagnale The Pure Terrain map mode is in the map modes list in the game, you can spot it in action in the gif image in the mod description. I think the greek temple was added the game a few patches ago, I don't recall exactly which but it is not part of the mod.

I'm curious now. Is the skybox "trick" also doable on HoI4?
