How long does the event to switch to the colonies take usually? I have waited quite awhile and it has it fired.

So my honest thoughts on how you can improve this mod is to merely give the modifiers to the states which are loyalists, giving them all the territory including the forts is absolutely ridicolous.
You could potentially give a siege ability modifier which allows GB or whomever you are declaring independence against to have an easier time occupying the territory.

If you are going solo in the independence war, you should perhaps include a morale of armies of merely just a +5% in the America Alone modifier. Make it fairer for the player

This post isn't merely just to complain though, it's clear you put thought and hard work into the mod, with all the flavour events and possibly even after the independence war even though I hadn't gone that far yet. Even if it is a little pet project, I just want a more enjoyable experience and some little tweaks like these would go a long way.

This is really well made and the writing feels like it would actually be said in the game, same with the images for the missions.

i went in to test if it was compatible and none of the events triggered even with the mod alone, i tried switching to the 13 colonies to see whats wrong and the focus tree was the same, i think it might be an error on my end with corrupt DLC files (that happens to me often) so im gonna try troubleshooting

if its not the full experience but overall still compatible thats good enough for me (like if the focuses are weird but still work fine)
Kirikaze 28 Oct @ 4:38am
i assume its not because of the focus' but is this compatible with mods that edits and creates new provinces in america? (specifically Beyond Typus)

@Kaiserreich actually no you should not go to a future start date because you will not be able to get the Independence War event chain. Doing so would mean you would have to declare Independence the regular way.
EuropaArroyo333  [author] 25 Oct @ 12:43pm
@Kaiserreich You can go either way, although with all eu4 games it's best to form the Thirteen Colonies yourself.

I guess I'll also mention I structured the events and such so that you don't neccesarily have to start as England, but anyone who makes a colony in East America. Although doing it as England would get you the best experience.
Kaiserreich 25 Oct @ 12:35pm
To be able to get this new content do you have to start as England and form the thirteen colonies yourself or can you start in a start date with the thirteen colonies already established and go from there?

@Rodired The Congress of the Confederation should only be temporary. The Constitutional Convention should trigger within a few years of winning the war and thus changing to the Federal Presidential Republic

can you get rid of the +20 minimum authonomy from the tier 1 government reform since that kinda makes it impossible to get the below 1 for the native mission

@Shrike10011

The event chain will begin once you reach 50% liberty desire, where after you have to keep increasing it until you reach 90% where the war will begin.

As for the gaining churches thing, that is just a colonial nation thing it's always like that because the meantime is based on province not tag, so its far more likely to happen with more provinces owned.
Shrike10011 23 Oct @ 11:25am
How long does it take for the event chain for independence to fire? I've been playing as the 13 Colonies for some time now but nothing's happening. Actually, that's not quite true; I got an incredibly frequent amount of popups for one specific event, "Their eyes are not here" (colonial_nation.191), which gives you the choice between gaining a church, some unrest reduction and papal influence, or unrest increase and some adm in one province. Perhaps there is a conflict going on that fires this event over and over, rather than the independence event chain...
