Report a translation problem
This is very apparent with Sombrerito, because her eyes do not dye by default, while Hat's and Bow's do. But if you change the dye config to something else - e.g. ''Hat Cape'' such that the eyes use different colors, you can see it return to default in both of the scenarios you described.
I can definitely try to get it to behave similarly, but the core issue would still have to be fixed by Don. (Though that mod is 5 years old, so I wouldn't blame him if he doesn't want to.)
