The switcher is in the kitchen. Also for that switcher next to the door, you need to press 9 small red buttons so that the switch turns on.

i dont know how to open the gate when you climb the ladder at the first floor, i do see a lever next to the exit but it doesnt do anything whenver i pull it up or down
