Hey, thanks for the idea. This is actually a good way to enhance AK-47 vanilla animations. That combined with fixing bullets in magazine when reloading will go well together.
Also when you get around to fixing the AK, see if you can figure out how to animate the mag release. The Vanilla-Esque Reanimation mod already does this, but it’d be nice to have it on vanilla animations :D
I don't think my mod needs this. However, if I could ask a modder for their permission to edit their mod that already does it and apply my fixes onto their mod, I could try doing so.
On the other hand - mental health? Bruh, yeah. Just caring for yourself can lead to a healthy mind. I think releasing mods on a daily basis is such a bad idea - it exhausts you and mods are not made with meticulous care. My mods are the kind of mods that require all of that meticulousness as I need to observe and analyze vanilla guns for errors. I can already tell you I may do AK-47 next, just I don't know when I will start.
When you come back from your break, would you mind making a version of this mod with a slight reanimation for the viewmodel that makes the survivors actually hold the rubber grip? If not, that's fine. I get that mods aren't easy to make for this game.
Hell yeah. Game is great when it doesn't have blatant jarring issues. Some games just require so much needed polish and the game itself can be fun and satisfying. About the break, this time it won't be a long break like for few years, I just need weeks to recover and think of new ideas. I do it simply to avoid catching myself in the loop so I can keep delivering quality content and not go creatively bankrupt so I hope this is a good cause to take a break for.
