Just tried this and its a dream. Should be in base game. People were asking dev for it since 1.0
@DarkRaven when you have time and if you are interested, it would be really cool to have a toggleable commanders window for when using "no spoliers" and "no lock on" mods so that when you want you can speak to the tdc operator from periscope view like in base game.
I like turning the dials by myself but sometimes i think it'd be cool to do it verbally.
anyway, cheers and looking forward to your future mods
For those wondering i am assuming this is a hotkey for blue light (follow / dont follow) meaning you can switch blue light on or off with a hotkey whilst at periscope view: meaning you dont have to go the tdc screen to do it (assuming you are playing "unlocked").
I could be wrong as I havent actually tried it and easily misunderstand things.
@DarkRaven as you are capable of doing wondrous things, could you look into making HD/DF legitimately terrifying?
About a year or so ago I tried to mess with the datasheet to improve it but without effect.
HF/DF is considered in retrospect to be a bigger problem for uboats than RADAR, but in game you can fire off messages within visual range of warships and only say 1 in 10 times the escort comes towards you.
sorry for the hijack and thanks again!
Can you be more specific on what you want explained?
Do you think it would be possible to do something similar for the torpedo launch?
I tried it briefly, but it only worked in scenes from which you can fire the torpedo with the click of a button.
