@the others Who at least managed to ask kind of nicely: Maybe Hooveric's (quite old) mod is more to your taste https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2877014709 "less VFX" Alessar, I'd definitely try to pair that with either one, it's gonna be exactly what you're looking for. "Doesn't conflict each other!" <3
sigmars_disciple 7 Oct @ 5:23pm
@Alessar You don't see (or can*t read) yourself that the linked mod is trying to do the EXACT same thing as this mod? If I may be so curious: Why would you (apparently) urgently *need* to use them together? I mean it*s so important for you that you come here and show this mod author his competition? It's SO rude.

Like what sense would that even make. Just decide for one solution you like better. It won*t suddenly become the ultimate visual mod of your dreams if you add stuff on top of each other....

Or in this case remove, Oh the irony <3
You fancy a mod removing stuff, but only if you can stack multiple of the same kind HAHAHA

I can't do that yet. The only VFX removed are the passive spammy morale effects. I haven't touched anything else. Will see in the future if it's possible.

I was looking for something like this, but like previous comments said, could yo do a version with only a "reduced" vfx? or is it imposible? thanks!

Conflicts. Likely my changes will be overriden if that mod changed the same keys. Tho I fail to see the point of trying to use both.

It doesn't affect gunpowder smoke
LikeABith 4 Oct @ 1:12pm
does this effect the smoke from gunpowder units?

A WONDERFUL mod, though I think a smaller VFX would be good too so there's still the effect and notice that a buff is being applied or not.

THANK YOU I WAS LOOKING FOR THIS :wh:
GLaDOS_cz 4 Oct @ 10:31am
honestly, i would be good only with the non-magic vfx as morale removed, otherwise I have no problem with them if they are magic related.

God bless your work

it's their fault for making reinforcements taking time to arrive which also tends to bug the ai in the process
goatlegs 3 Oct @ 11:00pm
I am enjoying your example pic, where you are unashamedly swamping a helpless reinforcing army at the map limit, one of TWHs guilty little joys.

love it, thank you

They were also kinda outdated. With databases missing important tables. Who knows what kinda issues that might cause.
Sleepy  [author] 2 Oct @ 10:13pm
The reason I made this was precisely because I got annoyed at how the other available VFX mods nuked every VFX into the chaos realm.
Rustic Clover 2 Oct @ 9:59pm
This is perfect, I've been wanting a more conservative VFX reduction mod. The others many times removed legitimately useful info, you seem to be taking much more of a scalpel to this rather than the hammer of previous modder attempts.
DeaDBreaD 2 Oct @ 10:37am
SFO doesnt have that table. So all good. Thanks.
Sleepy  [author] 2 Oct @ 8:32am
Yeah I didn't touch that one. My goal was mostly just the white smoke stuff. I honestly can't say if it works with SFO but I made sure my changes are low priority and should be overwritten by anything that's not vanilla.
DeaDBreaD 2 Oct @ 5:01am
I think stuff like the murder rage proc for dark elves is ok. Im only really bothered about the white smoke. Guess its ok with SFO?
