Updated the page with some new information to avoid any future confusion.
i send you a add to share screenshots to show you what i struggle with.
Hi me again, so i tested this and still Fishbay dosent work that way. Aquafauna Regulator is fine.

Your problem is that you're trying to build it on tiles that don't support heavy structures (wetlands, soft sand, etc). You can toggle a filter that shows you terrain affordance. You'd have to build a heavy bridge where you want the building or remove the moisture with a moisture pump.
is it not working with swamp fish? i get the info to build "heavy support" but it has to be in water?
no problem on normal water.

Looks really good.
evoL 3 Oct @ 3:40pm
Fuck! Thought this would be an aquatic grav-drive to make ocean tile landings viable.
Kemuja 3 Oct @ 3:10pm
Hey look! I found a use for kibble! Thank you so much!

@V∆ŁĶẎŘĒΞ
Sorry, but no.

Will there be a Vanilla Buds Hygiene patch that would allow feces to be fed to your device, and it would use electricity to convert it into fish food? (In other words, increasing the fish population.)
Also, it's possible to do more. In real life, gas is produced from feces by adding the necessary bacteria. So, there's an expanded Vanilla gas mod.
You can connect sewerage and electricity to your device, producing gas and increasing the fish population. (I don't know how difficult it would be, but I think the idea itself is interesting.)
I know, actually implementing what I wrote would be a real pain.

I have managed to create a caravan while driving a carriage with this mod enabled. So I'm afraid there's some issues with your rimworld installation and you should consider wiping it clean.
ThatBartGuy  [author] 2 Oct @ 11:22pm
@Doomed - Yes, that's why it's disallowed by default by the 'One per zone' setting

@Goldenbuffalo - That's curious, I'll check it out
Goldenbuffalo 2 Oct @ 10:26pm
Im not sure why but this conflicted with the neolithic vehicles mod, preventing me from making a camp with my carriage. I know it was this mod because I went through enabling and disabling every mod I use till I found the one causing the problem.

If I were to build two of them would the effects stack?
狼雨歌 2 Oct @ 2:16pm
@Pasaway . Thanks !
Niteus 2 Oct @ 8:56am
You know what that means
FISH

Ooh cool, I like the new update. Fishbay will go great in my medieval runs. Good work.
ThatBartGuy  [author] 2 Oct @ 7:34am
The updateeee
Aramoro 2 Oct @ 7:30am
we printing fish boys
ThatBartGuy  [author] 2 Oct @ 4:57am
I don't think I understand the question. Any floors are fine as long as there are 6 tiles of heavy affordance in the back and 3 tiles of water at the front.
Chicken Kickin Fun 2 Oct @ 4:52am
how to set up the floor around it?
Hellsgator 1 Oct @ 11:00am
All I need now is an big aquarium for outer space. :/
ggfirst 30 Sep @ 10:19pm
tHNAKS to this mod I was able to repopulate myself
STEALTHY¥ 30 Sep @ 7:39pm
UK gov L cant see half the images for all mods now
Deathmaker2580 30 Sep @ 1:13pm
This will affect the trout population I think
Rob The Robot Guard 30 Sep @ 12:04pm
@Wisp
Blame Imgur for that one.

The modder could just upload the info-graphics to GitHub and embed them from there.

A few mods do that
Wisp 30 Sep @ 11:58am
brooo the image in the description is blocked in the UK??? common UK gov L

@LINX - Whilst possible, it's not planned for this mod.

@Snowcraft - Thanks for letting us know, we'll switch to hosting images on github
Birdlover 30 Sep @ 1:33am
great!! haha!! i have a suggestion:
how about when i turn on this machine, every child gets a "fluoridestare" that makes their consciousness -100 ? thanks
Pasaway 29 Sep @ 11:10pm
@狼雨歌: "Seed Fish Tool" will allow you to populate a body of water with fish.

LINX 29 Sep @ 10:53pm
Can we add more different types of fish?
狼雨歌 29 Sep @ 9:00pm
Great ! I have a suggestion : could you add a feature that allows players to add fish to pool using fish items through this mod ? For example , I built my own fishing pond , but it currently has no fish in it .
Thorion 29 Sep @ 8:56pm
@snowcraft

its just the "aquafauna regulator" and its stats

cost: 500 steel, 2 adv components 1000 W power intake

Effect: restores 20% of fish population of the water body it is attatched to every day

only notable info: "only one device can be built for each body of water, as to not disrupt the ecosystem's balance"

hope this helped
Snowcraft 29 Sep @ 5:17pm
:| I can't read any of the information on the graphic because Imgur has region-blocked the UK...
Moxie 28 Sep @ 8:51pm
And honestly, it should allow to feed the fish with more than just corpses. I could imagine feeding rice or even kibble to boost fish population.
Excel.exe 28 Sep @ 5:02pm
Horny fish machine
ThatBartGuy  [author] 28 Sep @ 1:07pm
The lower tech version that's planned for this mod will be a second building that you fuel with food, so technically corpses too if you butcher them.
jgsinfw 28 Sep @ 1:02pm
@stony - there's already a mod called Feedin' Fishes, or something close to that, which raises fish quantities in bodies of water with bodies in the water
Stony Rock 28 Sep @ 12:51pm
Can we have a medieval version of this called "corpse throwing into the river" spot?
ISee 28 Sep @ 10:50am
Well if you want it done automatically, yes ultratech
Tachylite 28 Sep @ 9:32am
Bro needs ultratech to do simple pH and nutrients balancing
ThatBartGuy  [author] 28 Sep @ 4:41am
None that I know sadly
cross and inshallah 28 Sep @ 3:37am
Will try out this mod for sure! On a side-note, is there any way to add fish to a body of water created by dev mode? I tried creating a lake but there's no fish even after 2 years and I couldn't find a command for it either 😔
ThatBartGuy  [author] 27 Sep @ 11:53pm
Fish will slowly regenerate if a body of water is below it's maximum capacity, this building will simply increase the amount of fish in a zone by 20 % of the zone's maximum each day.
Tovarisch Morton 27 Sep @ 11:12pm
Do fish populations return naturally without this mod or is this mod required for that to occur? I haven't really tested fish much
ohluitvaenri 27 Sep @ 6:15pm
@Demonseed theres a mod called Floor Mounted Aquarium that does that !
Demonseed Elite 27 Sep @ 4:43pm
This is amazing! I'd love to see buildable aquaponic fish-farms too! Something that could slowly generate fish in exchange for nutrients. Perhaps buildable specialized hydroponics linked to it to reduce nutrient cost.
