did a test for myself without any mods on in hl2!
did not encounter any problems, perhaps check your mods list to see if you have any mods that could interfere with this one or any ragdoll mods? Usually ragdoll physics mods are the culprit due to some of them having really complex physics, if you have one installed you could try installing another that's a smaller file size!
