the idea was to allow repairing your own ships in combat, you could have a dedicated healer class ship.

interesting id look at the bio armor mod might get inspiration from it even if its a dead mod the armor that it has is self healing which might be what you really want to go after... maybe make a new mod where the over mind is a tree engine maybe idk
