So just finished the campaign. Legitimately one of the smoothest and best made workshop campaigns I’ve ever played. Even more so because it’s fully vanilla. If you’d told me that this was made by the game devs I’d have believed you. Well done!

Very minor issue, in the last sector of Race to Buqbuq and the last two sectors of Fall of Bardia the Italian spawns are a little in the open, enough so that you can see them spawn as the attackers. Maybe you could put some rocks or some buildings in front of them so it’s a bit more concealed.

Just a personal opinion, but I think this campaign is better than the Battle of Pindus campaign you’ve submitted for the map contest. Especially as it uses all in game assets and factions. I would be more likely to vote for this one than for Pindus. Great map, great campaign and great work!

Regarding the missions, yeah I do agree that the first two missions are bit too hard on the Italians, I'll try to rebalance Operazione E a bit more, specially on the first objective, and regarding Push Through the Pass, I'm not 100% happy with how that mission turned out so I'm probably going to rework it at some point, do agree that the Britis have a bit too many MGs on the first objective so I'll probably going to take some away from them

Regarding artillery, I'll probably give the Brits some mortars on the Operazione E mission, on Push Through the Pass, both sides have access to artillery not only smokes, if the Italian AI isn't calling in HE on the British positions its on them lol, but they have access to it, I've played both missions as the Italians and they are perfectly beatable as them, but I can see the AI struggling on their own so I'll see what I can do to balance them a bit better!

On Operazione E the British spawns are a bit close for the first sector and defenders fill up before the Italians can really get a good foothold. I think some more explosive artillery would make this part a bit more interesting.

For Clearing the Pass I think the British defenses on the first sector are a too strong. 5 machine guns and two anti-tank guns means the Italians can’t really get close until these are all destroyed. While there’s a bit more explosive artillery it’s not really enough to tip the balance. I think get rid of the MGs and maybe one of the AT guns might make this mission a bit more manageable for the Italians and improve the balance overall.

I can’t really comment on later sectors as I never made it that far as defenders.

Great campaign so far and I’ll give you feedback on the rest of the campaign as soon as I’m done with it. Great work!

Hey man, I’m about halfway through the campaign so far and I have some feedback.

First off, it’s really good! The missions are a lot of fun to play and it depicts a part of the war that doesn’t get a whole lot of attention. It’s really nice to see some early war tank gameplay with the British/Australians vs the Italians!

I think the missions where the Italians are attacking favour the British a bit too much though. When I played they never made it past the first two sectors. There seems to be a lot of smoke artillery and not a whole lot of explosive which makes it really easy for the British to defend.
