Report a translation problem
Take "Bon the Rabbit" for example. He does not, to my knowledge, have a way to open doors. Instead the just breaks them and that is it, that is how he gets around closed doors.
The problem is, that gate in the office is not breakable, so he just gets stuck there until someone decides to open for him, or, if he sees you in the vents right after you spawn him, he will instead go into the vents to chase you.
TLDR: Some nextbots cannot open doors.

1. uninstall navmesh addon and close game
2. navigate to navmesh folder at steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\maps
3. delete all navmesh files relating to k9 in \maps and all of its subfolders (I had 3 files i deleted)
4. open gmod and enable navmesh addon
5. restart game and see if changes applied with "sv_cheats 1" then "nav_edit 1"
Seems like if you previously generated a navmesh for the map the addon has trouble overwriting it, but as soon as I deleted it the addon's mesh applied. This may be one of the main issues. Hope this helps.
Check the description of the addon to try some of the solutions the author found while trying to help people with the same problem. If none of it worked please write the problem here and the author will contact you personally to find solutions to your issue.

I recommend you tweak his settings and see if you have better results.
If you tried step five properly and it still did not work, it may be something new that I can add to the "Steps List" after we solve it.
Basically, the crawling and ducking animations alternate in the ducts. For example, when he does the ducking animation to enter and exit the ducts, he becomes much slower to enter and exit.

From what I understood from your comment, I can say that the navmesh does work with both of the"Bon the Rabbit" addons.
Try the addon out, and let me know if it does not work.
Ah I see. Bon the Rabbit does chase you and catch you if that is what you are asking.
He can break doors, go into vents by crawling, and overall do nextbot things.

NavMesh addons do not function without restarting the game, for whatever reason.
You can use the Navmesh editor tool to see if it's not working because of the NavMesh or NPC.
Try using the DrG base, the map, the official "Bon the Rabbit" nextbot and its required addons, and then try the vents at spawn.
Make sure you are only using the necessary addons for the test, including this navmesh.
