Could you make a few vassals for Liu Bei? For example, Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Zhao Yun and Zhuge Liang. According to their official ranks, they will receive corresponding salaries, just like a family business. This vassal relationship will never be terminated by either side. Prohibit Liu Bei and his vassals from all operations in the vassal option of diplomacy. Their diplomatic basic relationship is always set above 1000. Vassals can summon their own troops in any of Liu Bei's towns. Prohibit all factions from making any diplomatic proposals such as declaring war, trading, and forming alliances with Liu Bei's vassals. The diplomatic relationship of vassals with Liu Bei remains the same. Vassals can request Liu Bei to declare war on a certain faction.

Because WU doesn't have these generals, they're already assigned generic looks at the start. So, my current approach is to spawn a new one and then kill the old one so the new character can read the portrait I've given them. I've been trying to figure out how to improve this process so the player doesn't see two characters. Originally, there were two of each of the 90 characters, but now, there are still a few I need to fix in the script. I'm a complete novice and don't understand coding, so I'm looking for help everywhere. If you know how to code, please feel free to show me the right way. Thank you.

@ AW Does the system kill clones? Is it just me, or is it intentional? If it's intentional, the system kills the Zhang Kai (Yellow Turbans) with the visible portrait and leaves the one with the non-functional portrait.

- Yang Feng (Han Empire)
- Zhang Kai (Yellow Turbans)
- Meng Jie (Nanman) (I spelled his name incorrectly in my previous post :( )
- Mangyachang (Nanman)

Their clones don't have portraits.

Testing the 182 campaign:

- Xianyu Fu (child portrait don't work)
- Xianyu Yin (child portrait don't work)

I'm aware of the issues you're discussing, but my coding skills are poor, and I've been thinking about it for a long time, but I don't know how to fix them. @AW I did a general check and noticed that the following don't work:

- Han Zhong
- Yang Feng
- Zhang Kai (yellow turbant)
- Xu He (yellow turbant)
- Men Jie (nanman)
- Mangyachang (nanman)
- Bu Zhi (child portrait)
- Bu Lianshi (using or not using the CBV mod)

Yes, sorted 54321. This MOD basically provides portraits of all historical figures, so it is easy to distinguish which are historical figures and which are recruited generals.
