it's the damage by spit/clawed by special infected sound effect, the original is a scratch, this one is like a hit/thud. but yes that's a good point, i should've had a side to side comparison as well as an in-game demonstration

any si that uses those sounds effects, which is practically all of them. from the top of my head that would be exactly these:

- hunter claw
- hunter pinned
- spitter claw
- spitter acid damage
- boomer claw
- charger claw
- smoker claw
- smoker pinned
- jockey claw
- jockey pinned
- witch claw
