I'll get it looked after in a couple of days (out of town at the moment) but expect the same kind of" doubling" upgrade that the large block one got!
I havent had a look at power/fuel costs just yet. I think thatll need to be a part of a larger update across all of the blocks. Ill add it to the todo list though.
The upgraded thrusters provide twice the amount of thrust of the standard thrusters, BUT because of the double component cost, they weigh twice as much. This makes them barely an upgrade because the weight counteracts the thrust.
I would recommend changing the component costs for the upgraded variants, maybe even just for the thrusters. I would keep the component costs nearly the same, but increase the amount of superconductors, or other expensive components. Maybe atmo thrusters could require double the amount of motors and metal grids, while ions require double the amount of thruster components? I feel like some sort of tweak like this would keep the weight down so the thrusters remain useful.
Let me know what you think. Thanks for the mod still!
New to the game and was seriously struggling finding good uses for the Base Game versions. Now feels like there's some element of progression.
I think the only way around the problem would be to create completely new blocks for this mod, using the DLC art. Totally doable, but I think that would kind of defeat the purpose of the mod and just add clutter to folks G menues 😅
let me know if i can help any other way!
Put your mod load order back to whatever it was before hand, and see if the Industrial assembler is still missing its Advanced tag
Just finished doing a bunch of reading, and im attempting to stop this mod from conflicting too much with others that edit base game files, without actually creating new blocks in the G menu 😅
Not sure if this will work, but it might!
Ill get that heads up added to the mods description in a little bit. And yah, thanks does make sense. Im not creating block variants, so if another mod mods the same file I am, itll come down to mod load order for whichever file actually makes the changes in game.
Ill see if I can sort out variants to avoid that issue though. Havent done that before, so no promises
Just double checked over here, and the Assemble Speed should be double that of the base assembler. If you have build vision installed, can you let me know what you see on the Assemble - Speed line please and thanks?
If you have 3x assemble speed set in your world, the industreal assembler should be at 600% 4x speed, it should be at 800% kind of thing
Ill double check it when I get home. Thanks for letting me know!!
I noticed the industrial assembler though doesnt seem to be upgraded?
