Thank you!

You may also want to use my chaff controller, it's also in the front with yellow/orange.
Mr. Simtimus  [author] 9 Oct @ 10:32pm
You need the one in front of you with yellow/orange. The other one in the back is modified to showcase the RWR Ping, Track and Lock modes by the press of a button.

I meant regarding this specific set of MCs. There are two different SPO-15 MCs on here, I don't know which one is the right one? I used the one on the dummy fuselage.

You then connect ELI/TGT (x,y,z) composite to your controller which then sends data to radio and pylons.

If you open MumenR HMD V3, from there you need the middle seat which is saying FCS.
wdubois.slz 9 Oct @ 5:41pm
Hey! Looks great. I'm trying to integrate this and the FCS system onto an F/A I'm making, but I'm sort of special and have no clue what is mandatory and what is optional. A little help?
luis40ak 8 Oct @ 2:28am
yeah np
Mr. Simtimus  [author] 8 Oct @ 2:27am
I would have to check that with you online if you don't mind.
luis40ak 8 Oct @ 2:21am
so basically RWR is getting distracted by radar clatter, but it still doesnt explain why my friend doesnt see it spasming around
Mr. Simtimus  [author] 3 Oct @ 7:56am
To be honest I have no clues at all. Note that it works based off a radar, and everything the radar see becomes a threat. Radar can even detect the workbench and other constructions, it's how stormworks works.
luis40ak 3 Oct @ 6:45am
Now I tried moveing it to divrent spot on my build, even joined in with my friend and for him RWR works just fine, after that I checked my file integrity, and that didnt work either,
luis40ak 3 Oct @ 5:54am
I dont know if its only my issue but when im stationary on the ground RWR works fine, but when i take off it starts spasming, it just shows random contacts when there is nothing there, and doesnt sound any alarms ETC,
50°02'05.1"N 19°10'33.0"E 2 Oct @ 12:21pm
ohhh ok
Mr. Simtimus  [author] 2 Oct @ 12:17pm
Yup. They are super usefull because you can place them "in the air" but you have to merge. So they don't have to connect directly with the vehicle. Super useful for planes for example, if you need 100 chaff and don't want to build a brick.
50°02'05.1"N 19°10'33.0"E 2 Oct @ 12:02pm
they make the block behind them invisible soo its see-through
Mr. Simtimus  [author] 2 Oct @ 11:53am
So you can then copy and paste onto your vehicles not to destroy their visual look with a bunch of square launchers.
50°02'05.1"N 19°10'33.0"E 2 Oct @ 11:04am
why are the chaff launchers invisible?
Mr. Simtimus  [author] 30 Sep @ 1:03am
This allows me to then have a much smarter Chaff system that can track the speed of an incoming threat to see if it's a missile to only then launch chaff.
Also I have plans to connect it to ROIFF to show if the Primary Threat is actually a Friendly Aircraft.
Leonyasko 29 Sep @ 6:28pm
you chosed boring way(
it's not actual spo, just imitating
spaceguy 637 29 Sep @ 4:02pm
sick! :steamhappy:
Mr. Simtimus  [author] 28 Sep @ 12:54pm
All the microcontrollers, buzzers and chaff used are located separatelly, with the idea that you can then connect to your plane which may be using MumenR's HMD V3.
Haypog 28 Sep @ 8:26am
the only thing I wish from this is that the there's no vehicle it's in and it's only the RWR system
Mac and Cheese 26 Sep @ 8:39am
i know i tried in the past to make radars (and other type of blocks) less than its original size
Mr. Simtimus  [author] 26 Sep @ 8:35am
each side any side*
Mr. Simtimus  [author] 26 Sep @ 8:33am
Unfortunately each side longer than one block can't be shrinked down and still be working.
Mac and Cheese 26 Sep @ 7:07am
oh alright sorry for miss understanding i though you wore talking about turning the phalax 3x3x3 radars into a 1 block tall radar (or just 1x1x1 visually)
Mr. Simtimus  [author] 25 Sep @ 1:07pm
Alright, I've updated it to include xml radars, so you can place where you need. You'll have to connect them manually. They are 3x3x0, so you can hide them in a wing.
Mac and Cheese 25 Sep @ 11:42am
from the 3x3x3 into 1x1x1 visualy
Mac and Cheese 25 Sep @ 11:40am
like specificly how do you do that? (im guessing you mean less than 1 block tall with xml)
Mac and Cheese 25 Sep @ 11:39am
how?
Mr. Simtimus  [author] 25 Sep @ 10:43am
Btw, you can make those radars thinner and put them into the wings.
Also, you can rightaway connect these radars to HMD V3 to have super cool target aquisition.
mineshot22 25 Sep @ 9:21am
no passive rwr?
Still surprises me how the one I built hasn't been taken up by more people
Hero 25 Sep @ 9:08am
WOW dude
50°02'05.1"N 19°10'33.0"E 25 Sep @ 5:32am
when will the devs or some modmaker make a extremly compact radar for RWR's like this its hard finding space in my vehicle for those 4 big radars
Mr. Simtimus  [author] 21 Sep @ 5:18pm
I've made some changes in threat velocity formula to be more accurate for smart chaff, so I'd suggest using updated controllers for SPO15 and Chaff on your vehicles. The updated version of chaff should have a "Threat Velocity m/s" tooltip value.
Sorry for inconvenience.
MrCreebert 21 Sep @ 2:12pm
Wow, this looks incredibly accurate! I think im going to use this for my Su-33
Mr. Simtimus  [author] 19 Sep @ 10:40pm
I've played a bit with radar settings, and you can now detect up to 12 km (in certain situations)
Mr. Simtimus  [author] 19 Sep @ 10:37pm
I understand your frustration, but there is currently no other SPO-15 as visually and logically detailed as this one. Plus, on small planes there are no space for a rotating box around the center of mass.

Distance wise, there can be used any radar microcontroller as long as it outputs data as described above in this page.

Another strong side of this approach is that I'm planning on linking it with ROIFF to detect whether primary target is friendly, which you cannot do not knowing it's position in space.
1eminence死123神123 19 Sep @ 9:16pm
Not to say that this is a bad job, but using radar to determine the direction of enemy radar is not the best idea when there are already crafts where only the detector is used, the limited range of work is also very frustrating
