Thanks, I'm just thinking about how I can implement single player support. And someday I'll figure out how to do it.

Tried this add-on out and it was pretty good! Though it is a bit of shame that it doesn't support single player, otherwise I would certainly keep this enabled on my list (Sadly I run a heavy amount of mods and a multiplayer server breaks some of them). But regardless! Keep up the good work mate! Hopefully we will see some more additions to this mod and possibly support to single player too! As it certainly has potential for some interesting NPC related fights and whatnot.

why is it only for singleplayer

Yes in Q -> Options -> NPC Progression

I just checked, everything is working, but maybe it's not working for you because you're play in singleplayer game. In the updates, I wrote that now the tool only works in multiplayer. You can just start the server and check again. I also noticed that there are a couple of addons that conflict with my tool, which ones I do not know specifically, but it may be related to this.
