EchoSixThree 26 Sep @ 10:39am
Thats alot extra... you have to dumb-proof your mod. If you derp, most people just wont use it.
opgama 26 Sep @ 8:38am

killerkizer 25 Sep @ 10:42pm
I'm new to modding I tried watching the video, and i tried to look for the Local Drive (C:) but couldn't figure it out it said something about needing a disk or dongle to plug in. is there any way to bypass that.
Radical Randy 25 Sep @ 8:26pm
@^-^
they have a mixtape mod for true music that has 4 or 5 songs each

Crashes the game upon loading a save in 42.12

This is an amazing mod.
Listening to music in this lonely, post-apocalyptic world really feels like a ray of light breaking through.

The TrueMusic mod is also fantastic, but I used to get a little tired of having to switch cassettes every 3–5 minutes or digging through containers, only to have tons of cassette tapes appear out of nowhere.
This mod, which lets you enjoy music for long periods, is therefore truly wonderful. Thank you very much.
pottish 25 Sep @ 3:19am
@Wukune authors are focused on 42 because maybe they don't want to bring it over from 41 to 42 once 42 is stable. also where a growing portion of the playerbase is moving to.
pottish 25 Sep @ 3:15am
I can't find the 'SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\108600\3570220139\mods\InternetRadio' folder. Or anything like that, at all. Nothing with SteamLibrary.

Can someone help me? I can't add radio waves to the sandbox menu. I seem to be doing everything correctly according to the template, but when I go into the game and switch to the added wave, there is no sound :(

Pretty fucking cool.
Wukune 24 Sep @ 12:37pm
It's not that a lot of us "refuse to adapt to a new build", but players like myself enjoy playing the game with friends so you can imagine how disappointing it is that mod authors are more focused on an unstable, single player build rather than the multiplayer ready b41.
Harleymart 24 Sep @ 12:08pm
i got called a "ragebait burner account" cuz im pissed all these great mods are only available for a build thats not even fucking complete yet :steamsad:fuck the PZ fandom lmao
jacoolito 24 Sep @ 12:00pm
Really liking the mod so far. I did have to play around the channels before I got everything to work, like changing 89.4 to 89.8. I'm not really sure why. Anyway all is good now. For those looking for channels American/Euro Truck Sim has some good resource. They use something similar to add live radio channels.

Here's a good one: https://radio.trucksim.fm:8000/radio.mp3

and some from the Philippines :)
Energy FM: http://ph-icecast.eradioportal.com:8000/energyfm_manila
Love Radio: https://magic.radioca.st/stream
89 DMZ (Dance Radio): https://cast3.my-control-panel.com/proxy/idmzsayawpinoy/stream

@ribs thanks for making the mod!
Slain The Ulti-Maid 24 Sep @ 1:32am
@harleymart you are mad because you refuse to adapt to a new build, not because b42 ruined the workshop. there's a difference.
明明灭灭 23 Sep @ 8:11pm
The concept of the mod itself is very cool. However, aside from the radio channels added by the mod, the stations I added myself don't work in the game. They only result in a long freeze after tuning to that frequency, and then nothing happens. It might be because those internet radio URLs require clicking a "Play" button to function properly.
Hasa 23 Sep @ 7:28pm
This is awesome, imagine going places in servers when 42 mp releases and you hear random radio stations. It reminds me of the division 1 where most safehouse had a radio you could listen, it was a little detail but a really immersive one in an apocalyptic world
Waverly 23 Sep @ 3:25pm
@FistOfTheNoob well yeah... B42 doesn't support official multiplayer...
Waverly 23 Sep @ 3:25pm
@harleymart keep the rage bait to YouTube Shorts and TikTok.
Thurman 23 Sep @ 12:50pm
unironically, we needed this
23 Sep @ 12:22pm
@harleymart you made a burner account just to say a bunch of lies? really?
Harleymart 23 Sep @ 7:48am
LMFAO ONCE AGAIN, THE MOD SEEMS AMAZING AND IM EXCITED TO USE IT

I SUBSCRIBE TO THIS MOD AND GET READY TO START INSTALLING IT

AND THEN I FIND OUT ITS ONLY FOR B42

I FUCKING HATE B42 SO BAD ITS RUINED THE WORKSHOP LOL :thefarmer:
|DT| Striker 23 Sep @ 5:38am
I can't add a single radio station through the sandbox menu; there's always no sound. I'm tired of searching for radio stations on websites and it's all useless :(
UMURANGI GIRL 22 Sep @ 8:35pm
Now i REALLY want SexFM to come back
FISH 22 Sep @ 3:45pm
I posted in discussions ribs any idea? Anything in a can or flask or bottle, I can drink water just fine but anything else is a no no

I added a min/max distance feature to the mod. You can now control how far away radio sound can be heard.
To enable it, please resubscribe and overwrite the Java classes again.
ribs  [author] 19 Sep @ 9:36pm
@FISH
Here is the tutorial video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LRSQTiiZ7nA

@yustin
I added debug logs to the new stream function. Please resubscribe and overwrite the files so we can see exactly what happens.

@jacolito
Some update may have been missing. Sorry for the frequent updates, I am improving the framework to make them less common.
jacoolito 19 Sep @ 5:36pm
@ribs Thanks for uploading a new vid. So far so good it's working on a normal unequiped radio after I did a full reinstall of your mods.
ribs  [author] 19 Sep @ 2:40pm
@yustin
Can you share the error logs? I tested with soda bottles and cans but nothing happened.

@FISH
Sure. Once I update the mod I’ll upload the walkthrough.
yustin 19 Sep @ 2:17pm
after 4 hours of testing, I discovered that the mod causes 200-300 errors in a row when the character drinks any soda from cans or bottles. The problem lies in the FMODSoundEmitter.class file, which is replaced in the fmod folder.
FISH 19 Sep @ 7:45am
is there any chance you can upload a installation walkthrough for adding new radio frequencys
ribs  [author] 19 Sep @ 6:43am
@jacolito

I updated the video showing the mod working with dual weapons equipped. Please check it out.
ribs  [author] 19 Sep @ 6:10am
@jacoolito

I tested with crowbar and shotgun. Both worked fine. When you unequip the radio to equip a weapon, does it immediately stop? Do you have two radios on at the same time? If so, another mod may be conflicting. Try this:

Step 1: Resubscribe (unsubscribe then subscribe again) to all dependent mods like RIBs Framework, Radio TV Core, Internet Radio, etc. This refreshes their code.
Step 2: Overwrite all classes again. This mod and Radio TV Core share Java classes that must be replaced.
Step 3: Load a new game using only these mods in the load order.

If the issue continues, send me a video so I can follow your steps and track the bug.
If it stops, you likely have a conflict with UAL or Internet Radio. Then load your mods one by one, from least likely to most likely, until the problem appears. If you find the conflicting mod, send me the link so I can test and make a patch.
jacoolito 18 Sep @ 10:50pm
@ribs thanks for the vid and pic. The internet radio only stops when I equip a weapon. It's odd because all other radio stations works fine. So far I'm still using it, I can equip the talkie as a secondary with internet radio on and just use a single hand primary weapon.
ribs  [author] 18 Sep @ 8:13pm
@jacoolito It is fully compatible with UAL, as they don't have anything in common. Check the new video on this page to see both working with Survivor Radio. I updated the mod to add a custom frequency range. If you want this you must resubscribe the mods. If it is not working try resubscribing and overwrite the Java classes again. I also posted my mod load order on the page for reference, but is not necessary to load this before UAL.
jacoolito 18 Sep @ 5:04pm
@ribs Thanks for the mods. I was able to add my own channel. By any chance, is there a way to use this with UAL? I tried changing the load order but still the radio stops as soon as I equip something. UAL does work for other radio stations like the one from True Music.
