i did find another saint related issue; both levitation abilities seem to work proportionally of each other, sending your scug flying
You mean like it actually changed timeline to different one or you're just teleported to DS? (I forgot to change this warp point to future version of region for Saint)
Warps can change timeline iirc but I don't remember finding any warp in Watcher's regions that actually does this. What regions (and warps in them) you visited before this happened?
There's like two check that don't allow it: first one doesn't allow creating room script outside of watcher's campaign and second one doesn't allow Giant Ripple to do final thing if there's no watcher in room.
Ex: Survivor doing the quest to unlock said ability since they have the ability to warp to Outer Rim to theoretically access it.
I'm probably going to remove their space time continuum breaking privileges (maybe a toggle option in remix) and also change how they activate camo, somehow.
ngl that warp destination to infected GW is evil (I almost always find that one Red Lizard getting in my room ready to obliterate me unless I activate that camo fast)
While yes, you can't create any portals or go camo while controlling a creature, apparently you can with a tamed slugpup with you (you can put slugpups on your back while you play as Lizards, Vultures or Scavs for convenience).
You can open portals (but still have to get out of the creature to enter them) and even go camo, but only the slugpup will go camo.
Thank you for checking tho, that was kind, too bad there's no way to directly use portals as a controlled creature (and I wish there was), but this trick I found will be kinda useful
The bad news of this accidental finding is that now I am in infested wastes, lol
This is also probably reason why opened warp points don't work (because there is no player to look for, at least near that creature)
Oh and also I forgot to specify in previous messages that it's only camo that doesn't really work with not slugcat playables, like creatures see you even when you're technically in camo. Warps should work with those.
At first I could create portals while inhabiting a Lizard but after the first warp I couldn't anymore, so I have to pop in and out from the creatures I decide to live as everytime I want to travel and it's a bit tedious. I also have to pop out of my hosts to cross open portals because I can't cross while inhabiting a creature, idk why.
With the artificial (the lizard character from not slugcat playables) it works fine from what I saw, so it should be the same thing, I hope..
@apyrrex Parasite from not slugcat playables I assume? It probably won't work atm because Player can get invisible but not creature you control. This also includes other not slugcat playables with exception of The Rot (only extra cysts are visible, maybe tentacles as well I'm not sure). I'll see if I can make it work.
Also, does this work with the parasite mod while you are controlling a creature?
Because for a while it managed to work, but stopped for some reason..
Could you check on that too and make it work if possible, please?
There was also mod called "ripple doesn't disable karma gates" maybe it can work for now.
So now I need to fix old stuff and add other new stuff from 1.5 as well.
If you force change destination to vanilla regions you can get to HI, SU, GW, DS.
Example: If you somehow get 0.5 Ripple (with Dev Console or something else) that option will allow you to use camo. (Same Ripple at which Watcher is allowed to use camo)
