Alright, getting the second work-in-progress build rendered now, gonna let it go overnight and I'll try and pack it up in the morning before I head out for work. I'll post a link here when the second ones up, thanks for taking a look!

I think I can safely say it'll be out before mid-November almost certainly, I got a lot further along than I expected these past couple weeks

@harrisonfinn16 I think there's a couple buildings with entrable interiors already, when I've got the city block layout done and have all my buildings roughly blocked out I figured I'd start making some more interiors

Updates up! I'll see about fixing those couple texture hitches and that should be good for this first WIP. I'll put my nose to the grindstone for a bit and get some new areas/interiors put together for a 2nd WIP build in the future!

Working on a little update for this first WIP build, adds a few things and refines some others. We'll see if the main city area gets much bigger, optimization tanks hard when I add additional blocks lmao

I'm really really bad at making cities 😭😭😭

@foodmonstersonmylawn I guarantee it'll get done to some extent at least, I'm just putting off having to re-do the tower stairs cause I'm lazy and it would probably be a hell of a lot easier to do in like blender lmao. Brushwork for weird angular stairs was a really stupid idea 😆

And atria, I'm adding that to the inspo pile for sure! If I end up having my way with source I think what you see here will be like 35-50% of the total map when I'm done so there should still be some room for a bunch of stuff

even if you never finish kresge, you should still one day try a office park, this map is pretty cool, i like the 1950s-70s designs and the buildings from ann arbor

one small office park that i think is pretty cool is atria park in ypsilanti and has the same experimental 1970s/60s vibe

Did a small check on my steam deck, actually ran surprisingly smooth and no missing textures so give it a go!
