@Inverspe Yep! both engine condition and quality increase as you put better condition parts in for the main engine parts. 'quality' is more about starting chance now then anything else.
One thing that DID confuse me, though, with my lack of knowledge, was the transmission parts. I ended up looking it up so I would know what I wanted, but I think it would be nice if you added a short/quick description to the various transmissions and torque converters in the game, explaining the benefits. Mainly, for the low/medium/high stall torque converters, to help players understand the impact of changing their torque converter better (how it will affect car performance). Something simple, like "fastest acceleration, lowest fuel efficiency" for the high stall torque converter, and so on.
@Inverspe Repairs will be coming in a future version.
@[Ba-El] Radio K, Will rescale fuel usage for next update.
@Shift17891: all transmissions in the game are automatics and use ATF. manual shifting mode does not change that.
Loading the mod in mid-save works. Just either start with a high condition car or use the debug 'repair all parts 'on the engine. to get the 'new car' fuel usage.. (or maybe try low and high condition fuel usage)
@Veloquix: Dunno, the option to disable wrecks is toggleable. You'll have to try it out yourself as I don't use that mod.

Also tooltips on all the parts.
That sound good? Does installing the mod mid-save swap in the parts in correctly? My usage of the mod so far has been just having it installed from the start.
The main engine parts, pistons, cylinder head and crankshaft do influence fuel consumption, but should only vary it from 50% at best condition to 150% at worst.
The old gas consumption algo was... extremely complicated and so I just started over from scratch, it takes into account throttle and engine RPM (if you have starlib installed. Else it estimates throttle from current speed)
Also, will stuff like super/turbochargers be added? I've seen a few "race" parts which are meant to increase performance, but it'd still be nice to have something that adds a heftier horsepower boost at the cost of wearing out the engine faster (perhaps racing parts would be immune to this effect?)
