ClamantSilver. Kamacite doesn't originate from the moon. Heck, the conditions required to make kamacite cannot be found on the moon or any moon. Except if your moon was the core of a planet that exploded millions of years ago. Of course you ''can'' find it on the moon, only because it's the residue of an asteroid that crashed on it.

Hey Woshee. The inspiration for this warpaint is the alloy "kamacite" which is found in some lunar metorites, hence the name "lunar alloy" and the display of the widmanstatten pattern (found in kamacite) texture as well as the moon sticker. Even though we would have really liked the moon sticker to work out as its a big set piece for the warpaint, its just not meshing well with the skin like you said so we're going to remove it, and try to update some of the other textures to make the skin more cohesive. Please let us know your thoughts and thank you for the criticism.
Woshee 10 Sep @ 9:25pm
this feels incohesive, like you threw a bunch of random textures that don't work well together, and put a moon to essentially duct tape the theme the war paint is.

Yeah, we were a little on the fence about the paint needing a sticker. We'll most likely remove it the V2.
S'Mug 8 Sep @ 3:43pm
Yeah, the sticker feels unnecessary and/or out of place. Prob because it's not as dark as the rest of the war paint. But, it's just my opinion. Keep up the good work

Also thanks!

By the moon do you mean the sticker?

Also the game is Hunt: Showdown
S'Mug 8 Sep @ 3:04pm
also what's the game?
S'Mug 8 Sep @ 3:02pm
You've done a good job for the textures, I just feel like the moon's out of place
Trickle  [author] 8 Sep @ 2:24pm
@S'Mug, the inspiration for this war paint is from another game's gun that combines the moon with kamacite.

@LT. Pootis IV, we based middle texture off of kamacite, found in meteorites, the inside of which usually has the widmanstatten pattern.
S'Mug 8 Sep @ 1:37pm
NOT SCIENTIFICALLY ACCURATE (why the fuck would you associate the widmanstatten pattern with the moon???)
Lt. Pootis IV 8 Sep @ 1:24pm
what is the middle texture supposed to be, pootisman is confused

ChemicallyAce, let me ask you a question... what if it could get darker... than dark?

You MIGHT need shadow mantle in order to proceed with this warpaint....:0face::happiestmask::steammocking::SMT5V_Mothman:
