How does this mess with team recognition when you aren't even yourself 99% of the time, you are disguised? And when you are yourself, you're either dead or burnt to a crisp. I don't think a mask replacement will instantly make you not recognize what team the spy is.

That was probably the worst analogy attempt I've ever seen. And a pretty bad argument. Sometimes people want specific things for their loadout. If someone wants a full on clown spy they don't have the face paint for it yet, and multiple people have tried doing similar things on the workshop. Atleast it's not the 10,000th elf/santa hat for Christmas.

If we already have this type of cosmetics, it doesn't mean that we need more

No clue why people are shitting on this below me; it's a solid 10/10 Spy cosmetic. The only thing that I can think of that could make it better is adding a few styles for the face paint, like give it more of a reason why it's locked behind the Halloween restriction.
