Found a fix for the Wind Turbines looks like they have there own check even thou they inherit from the class i'm patching a fix will be out within the hour thanks for the report!

I haven’t played Stationeers in a while I’ve been playing PoE 2, and PoE 1 has a new league starting in 6 days, so I’ll be focusing on that. I can’t promise anything, but I’ll try to take a look at updating the mod to add some of the things I wanted to include.

Is this mod still being updated? Wind turbines, big and small, still require the frames.

Logic items Any possibility of seeing if they can be modified? Allow the to be placed anywhere, even on machiines?

razz3r: If you're able to provide me with specifics on the weirdness, I can look into fixes for that specific issue without completely removing restrictions for them.

Disabled collisions between wires bring problems with merging.

Maybe - remove wires collision? It's sometimes weird.

I don't suppose you could expand the frame collision to cladding? The non-airtightness of cladding angers me, so I'd love to be able to place it over wall panels

While I like the idea, Initez, I'd prefer to avoid relying on keybinds as much as possible. The main goal here is to make building restrictions more consistent and to remove any limitations that currently seem unnecessary or unintuitive.

CF and my mod overlap in some areas, but while CF removes nearly all building limitations, my mod simply reduces them.
I created this mod because I felt CF went too far in removing restrictions, and it also has issues with networks not merging correctly unless parts are placed in a specific way. This mod is intended as a more balanced alternative.

Maybe you could expand this mod to all buildables, with the use of a modifier key to override placement limits.

Many things have unneeded checks, like railings, the access bridge etc etc
