i can do zombines easily, i have an overlay for their textures. but i still have zero clue on how i could port the zombie textures to have an overlay for other textures. right now the best i could do is to try and replicate their blood making my own and then just slapping the zombie textures (except the blood) on top

You might be able to do it for the Garry's Mod port, Siberean was able to do a full RNG overhaul to the zombies for Garry's Mod way back from making the classic zombie have either citizen,refugee,rebel or civil protection clothing, zombines being the usual soldier to even the elites and poison zombies being a mixture of both and even made it so crawlers could be both as well.

Aaaaah. Well I hope you or someone else can help figure it out…. I just figured it be a simple replaced kinda like with Alfa33’s corpse replacer.

if i try to retexture the zombie textures, it'll be hard and time-consuming since the blood makes it look like a badly cropped out texture, that's exactly what happened with the zombie reskin this mod had that i removed

@Rogeriforloki i'm still learning a little bit of blender, but this mod is only a reskin (and ONE model replacement) you can use that one "rebels use soldier vest" mod and it kinda works the same

Would be cool if there was a bit more variation in vests, most could still wear metrocop ones, but some could wear soldier ones, some nothing aside from a bandoleer or whatnot, and maybe a couple have pre war ones aswell, could that be up for consideration?

So I also forgot to mention. Along with changing the citizen corpse, will you be changing the hd corpses in episodes 1 and 2, like with the rebel corpses and such?.

this mod is seriously awesome, if theres anything i would wanna see in it, it would be more helmets, but each with a unique design, like a barnacle-proof helmet, or maybe a welding mask, all of this stuff is awesome so keep up the good work! i would also like to see them get four fingers but that would be hell to make

Dang. Sounds hard than I thought. I will say I wish half life 2 had more variety, I do wanna say the replacement of the refugees with c14 refugees implies that the c14 citizens either wear red sweaters or red uniforms. Just details like that is interesting.

yep, i added city 14 refugees to add more variety and explain the red clothing. the city 14 refugees escaped city 14 through the canals and helped the resistance in the uprising, with some even joining the lambda resistance movement (as seen in the male refugee armbands)
as for the citizen corpse, i plan on adding that as well, but it has the same problem as the zombie, which is being difficult to work with without a blood preset, or else everything will look like a poorly made crop out PNG.

the zombies have been removed from the mod.
this is due to my insatisfaction with how they turned out and some people appeared to not like it much as well.
If you still would the zombies to match up with the rest, I recommend adding any of the "citizen clothing zombies" mods in the workshop.

the zombie blood is kinda ridiculous, I rather it be toned down from the original and its WAYY to bright & red to actually look like blood thats been for a while.
