In case no one else has asked yet, but could you make a patch for the Vivi Race mod? A big addition to the mod are these special kinds of walls, and... yeah, they turn to wood when a layer is destroyed.

@Maestro If I remember correctly, the library is a bit old and many of its features have been implemented in the game. That’s why it’s mostly older mods that still depend on HugsLib, and quite a few of them have even removed it from their dependencies.
I'm no expert on the matter and I haven’t programmed anything with HugsLib, so take this with a grain of salt.

@SP4TAN I patched it, even though I’d recommend newer, better embrasure mods that don’t require HugsLib.

I wish we could get something like layered destruction for mountains. Really annoying when a breach raid comes in and frag grenades through 10,000 tons of solid granite in 30 seconds just because they don't like walking around obstacles. Be nice to see their reckless mining meet some cave-ins for once.

@Samso I just created some textures for tudor walls, so now almost all walls from MO have layered destruction, with the only exceptions being tents and palisades.
It doesn’t make sense to add layered destruction to tents, and for palisades it would require new textures. Anyway, I don’t think palisades being destroyed instantly is a big issue, they aren'y meant to be that strong.

Only problem with this mod is that degraded embrasures get restored into walls rather than embrasures.
Otherwise, great mod, a must-have for all of my mod lists.

@Mee Goreng I didn’t even know about this mod, Harkon never disappoints.

@alexandru Probably yes, but I haven’t tested it. I added the 1.5 tag so you can try the mod, let me know if you encounter any issues.

@тетеря, блин I patched Glass+Lights, and Steve’s Walls throws an assembly error at startup.

@Protoshmel Thanks mate! There were a few errors, but I completed the patch for Reinforced Walls Reworked. I’m sorry, but the palisades from Fortifications would really look bad, so I didn’t implement them.

I made a huge update, check the changelog.

Last note about the issue where modded walls break and turn into base game walls :
VFE Medieval is not affected because they use their own WallBase as ParentName.
All Medieval Overhaul unpatched walls (tents, palissades and castle walls) have this issue, you can even end up getting core game walls made out of cloths if you break some tents.
I made a temporary patch that removes the layered destruction mechanics from these walls and fixes the castle walls.

I just found a small error in the Layered Wall Destruction MO patch that prevents the castle wall patch from working. He forgot to add Inherit="False" when adding the comps

@Albo_Mora I would need to make new textures to patch VFE Medieval 2 and the unpatched walls of Medieval Overhaul, which I don’t know how to do. I’d be happy to handle it if someone could provide the required textures.

The problem you’re describing (when a modded wall breaks and turns into base game walls) happens when a mod uses the game’s wall as its ParentName, since Layered Wall Destruction modifies that base wall.
